I suffered a dog bite on 14 Jan and began intradermal pep at safdarjung hospital. They did not give serum although wound had slight bleeding. I got serum on day 5 from pvt doctor, who said it is possible that intradermal at safdarjung hospital is not effective as it is not administered properly. I need second opinion on this, and what I can do to ensure am I safe?

If the dog was not already infected with rabies the serum is not essential. If the dog is not traceable, it is better to take serum.
