This question is for doctor specialized in Diabetes. My regular sugar levels reading are 120(pre-pradial) and 140 to 160 (post prandial). I have been consuming medicine Istavel 100 mg once daily and glycomet 1 gm twice daily and have been using this medication for over 06 months period. The sugar levels are as above with this medicine. Kindly advise can the above medicine be continued for how long? I am taking for hypertension 50 mg Tenormin tab. in the morning and 40 mg Telma in the evening and my regular BP is around 90/140 after the medication. Pls. advise whether the dosage of medicine for hypertension can be continued or to be reduced. I have no other ailments and healthy.
