After chemical peel I got reaction on my face! I had white patches kind stuck to my face! which resembled whiteheads! dermatologist said its infection / allergy. He prescribed medrol tablets and desonide cream. After 3 days he removed white patches with cotton. But now after I wash my face my face gets this white small white kind look again which fades after it dries. Is it normal? Will reaction from chemical peels ruin my skin or is it already ruined? What do I do get my normal skin back?

If symptoms are very minor, some people can prevent white patches from becoming obvious by not allowing their skin to tan. Treatment options for vitiligo include: low-dose corticosteroid creams, like 1-percent hydrocortisone cream.
