Hi, After my blood donation I came to know that I am Hepatitis B positive. HB Surface Ag- 15.4 OD Ratio by ELISA HB Envelope Ag- 0.4 S/CO by CLIA Anti HB core Antigen- 0.22 OD Ratio by ELISA Gamma Glutamyl Trnsfrs- 23.3 U/I by Photometry Ammonia Plasma - 268 mcg/dl by Kinetic method HBV Quantitative Viral Load- <1.1IU/mL, <9.03copies/mL SGPT- 106IU/L, SGOT- 97IU/L Bilirubin Total- 1.26, Direct- 0.31 So my Dr. Suggested Ursocol 150 for 7 days and SGPT and SGOT reduced from 130 & 114 respectively. Then she suggested to continue Ursocol 300 until next consultation with Gastroenterologist. My Dr. MBBS DNB FCCM critical care medicine, is confused now whether I am just a Carrier or Chronic, needs 2nd opinion. I am also worried as the referred gastroenterologist will be in India after 10 days. Still told to wait. I am very scared now. Please suggest. Moreover I am HIV negative and my wife is also Hepatitis B negative.
