I am 13 turning 14 in april and I am in 8th grade. I play four sports (one every season and soccer all year round) and I still have not gotten my period but I have had discharge for 2 1/2 years almost and started developing breasts and under arm and pubic hair like 3 years ago and I get cramps and feel bloated all the time. Is this normal?

Intense training has been found to delay the onset of puberty in females by altering normal hormonal development. Delayed pubertal growth spurt, delayed age at first menarche, and delayed skeletal maturation have been reported in young girls involved in athletic training for at least 15 h/week. However, some studies have suggested that delayed menarche is due to genetic factors.
