I'm suffering form Hepatitis B. In Feb 2016, doctor in Ahmedabad recommend me for the following tests: 1. HBV- DNA Quantitative 2. HBeAg 3. LFT 4. Anti-HBe Based on the reports doctor didn't prescribe any medicine and told me visit after 6 months with these teats. 1. HBV-DNA Quantitative 2. SGPT Now, in Kolkata doctor prescribed me the following tests: 1. TSH 2. Lipid Profile 3. VitD3 4. LFT, 5. HBeAg 6. HBV-DNA 7. USG U/A 8. Fibroscan of liver 9. UGI Endoscopy 10. Elastography I don't understand why the doctor prescribed so many tests? Is it really necessary at 1st stage? I'm scared of so many tests. Moreover as an student it's very difficult to bear the cost of these tests. Please help.
