I had gone through Surgery 4 days ago of B/L varicose with left sided epididymial crystal. So my question is when can I go back to my work as I have to work standing 14 hrs I had to lift heavy items some time around 25-40 kg. And run up and down with the items. As it is swelling around the testicles and pain also, how much time it will take to get back normal as before and what precautions should I had to take know or later on. It has the chances to come back again in future?

Hello- You will probably be able to return to work or your normal routine in 2 to 3 days after microscopic surgery, depending on your job. If your job involves intense activity or lifting, it may take a week or more before you can go back. If you had an open surgery, it may take longer to return to work and your normal routines. You may need to wear an athletic supporter (jockstrap) for about 2 weeks after the surgery or as your doctor instructs you. Yes varicocele surgery has a high recurrence rate within five years time. If thats so, try Ayurveda treatment this time for complete recovery.
