My wife aged about 42 years is suffering from tonsillitis. She has taken both homeopathy and allopathy medicine as Dr. Recommend from both Aiims DELHI and Kailash hospital Noida. Now we are consulting from Kailash hospital Senior consultant has prescribed more than five medications. So long she is taking medicine it is responding to the treatment in the past. Though it is chronic, Dr. suggest not to do surgery. Please guide.

Pleae consult a good ENT specialist. You cannt decide whether its acute, subacute or chronic. At this age, tonsillitis is rarely indicated, so do not worry.
