My father age is 71 and he has problem of stomach from his young age. He do not feel relax with his stomach. Lots of gas he feel. Also for motion he go several times a day but feel no satisfaction and if any medicine he take neither it work or it work for few days only. Right now he use zenpride od, last fiber, pantop 40, flagyl 40, duphalac syrup, lots of treatment has also been done with several doctors but results is same. Please suggest me what medicine I should gave and to whom I should consult.

For your father ask him to avoid spicy food in his diet and avoid peanuts and potatoes and apart from symptomatic treatment tell him to take tablet folicacid 5 mg once a day for six months.
