Whether your tooth needs RCT treatment or not is to be decided by a dentist. Only after clinical and radiological examination it will be decided how to go about with that tooth ,according to the experience and credibility of the doctor the charges varies .so best thing you can do is to find a good dentist and let him decide what treatment does your teeth need. Temporary filling is not going to last forever, it will lead to further damaged if not replaced by A final and strong restoration.
