Due to stomach ache my daughter was suggested an ultrasound of Upper abdomen. The Ultrasound report suggests: Gall Bladder is disintended in size with evidence of multiple echogenic shadows seen in lumen causing posterior accounts. GB walls are normal. CBD is normal in Caliber. What I could make out from consultation with the doctors is that there are stones in Gall bladder. But could not know what is size. Does it mean multiple small stones. Can these be flushed out - or the Gall Bladder removal is the only option? Would be obliged with an early response. Thanks.
