Hello dear lybrate-user, hi Warm welcome to Lybrate.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* The whole of the gall bladder is removed.* There is no cut, but 3 - 4 different ports are inserted inside the abdominal cavity for the surgery, which are each of around 10 - 12 mm. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.
