I had right hip replacement 6 months ago (due to AVN). My doctor has no allowed me bike riding because when I stop bike I need to put legs on road which creates pressure on hip. Also there is a risk of fall. I need to ride bike regularly. But when I search on net there is different scene. Some people are even jogging after THR. After surgery I am more afraid of any risk of damage to hip. Whats your advice? IMPLANT used - Depuy synthes (J&J) posterior approach. AGE 26.

I will suggest you to first do Physiotherapy treatment till your muscles are used to it and are strong enough to tolerate any kind of jerks
