Hi my father is taking amaryl m2 nd his sugar is not being controlled fasting is 330 aftr food 450 he went to various Dr. but still not. Controlling pls help me he has lost too. Mch weight he is suffering sugar from past 15 years nd I feel that medicines has stopped working before this ine Dr. prescribed strong medication with metformin 1000 mg which makes him unwell but now another Dr. gave 500 mg pls tell me I want good diabetologist who can solve my problem.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The blood glucose levels mentioned are too high, which show that present medical treatment is not at all helping him. There has to be an up gradation of treatment.
