Hello doctor I was diagnosed by tb without cough and bloody sputum. I was started treating with forecox, omnacortil20,benadon 40 mg. After 15 days of treatment my sgpt increases to93. 6 and my doctor stops forecox and starts ethambutol 1000 streptomycin and I was treated three months. After 3 months I moved to another doctor and he started r cinex 400 ethambutol 1000 pyrazzamide 750. After some days I was got frustrated and take rcinex 400 10 tab at once and 13 tablets of trice 0.25 mg.after that I complaint of mild hepatitis. After 1 month I again started taking r cinex400 ethambutol 1000 pyrazzamide1000. This is my history. I want to know. Am I at risk of developing MDR tb. Please help me doctor .I am on ATT since march 30. My latest x ray and pleural fluid examination reports are attached. I left with att for 1 week and after that I eat ethambutol800 for 1 month. Actually means my tb medication disturbed for 1 month from mid June to mid July. I am very worried kindly help me doctor.

MDR TB is rare in extrapulmonary TB TB medication should not be interrupted as in your case. Rise in liver enzymes is acceptable till 3-4 times rise.
