In her recent X ray reports, it indicated that there is little amount of fluid accumulated in the lungs. So she's not able to breathe properly. Why does the fluid accumulates in the lungs and what is the treatment for it? Can it be just wheezing or lung cancer?

Fluid in lungs can accumulate due to various causes like infection, cancers, heart, kidney and lung conditions and connective tissue disorders. You question needs to have a little elaborate history of the patient for an answer. Thanks.

Fluid on both sides or one side, how long and associated symtoms and any reports will decide cause and then treatment. Uni lateral effusion is mostly due to TB.
