Hello Lybrate user. A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. Make sure you clean your tongue while brushing teeth ,remove all the mucous, consume water frequently at least once in 2 hours ,include fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet, brush twice a day, avoid junk foods, rinse with water every time after eating food, rinse with warm salt water 3-4 times a day, you will see the change :) have a regular check up with near by dentist atleast once in 6 months and get cleaning done when ever it is necessary.
