I am suffering from strabismus I think so! I consulted a doctor also he said that it is a minor one something .5 difference! He has given me nuro capsule of Polaroid and given me massage and Nebraska eyes drops! And after it he gave me aqualuse eye drops BT I don't see any improvement! please help me as it making my confidence level go down and down and I am not able to talk to someone looking into their eyes please help and suggest me something!

Dear friend lybrate-user, I am extremely sorry to tell you either you have not understood what your doctor has explained you or may be you have not consulted a squint specialist ,also called as pediatric ophthalmologist who are trained and are experts in adult and children squint management, as can see in my qualifications listed in latika eye and maternity clinic. Squint is measured either in degrees or in prism diopters. But apart from this what is more important in your case is to know ,since when you have noticed or your friends have told you that you have squint. If it is sudden in onset than it is very important to find out why this squint has developed all of a sudden and will required full investigation in addition to your basic eye check up about vision and fundus exam. If this squint has developed gradually then it is imp to know is it the same or has been gradually increasing, and do you any problem in vision or glass prescription. DO YOU NOTICE SQUINT CONSTANTLY OR ONLY SOMETIMES. Also important to find out are you suffering from any disease or neurological problem at present or in past. Only after answering all these questions along with your eye exam ,can one understand the "cause of your squint" and the treatment will be directed accordingly. We do not have any eye drops or tablets for the cure of squint. Only after understanding the cause of squint -treatment can be initiated aiming towards the disease which in turn will help your squint. In Short treatment of the cause is done. We have very specific and straight forward modalities for the treatment of squint namely, 1. Treatment of the cause of squint for example disease like thyroid, myasthenia, hypretension etc 2.
