Hello, I am 21 year old boy. I am suffering from allergies. This allergies are from dust and cold. When I take ice cream or cold drinks regular for 2 or 3 days then I can not breath properly. Its feel like something block my windpipe. Same for dust. This allergies is since when I am about 12 year old or early. I want to know name of this disease and what is the cure. Please help me.

Hello lybrate-user Your body is sensitive to cold /cold climate/Dust. Etc. Usually allergic reaction comes in tangible to these conditions. One may get itching in either or one of the areas neck above regions viz.- Throat, Ear, Nose, or Eyes. Minding the aggravating factors one should take precautions too apart from medication. That management helps to control the intensity as well as recurrence of episodes. Those Fine Foreign body irritant particles gets inflammation to the mucous membranes which causes mucous secretions, in wind pipe it causes narrowing of tracheal lumen due to inflammation, and causes obstruction to the free flow of air passages. One may even get asthmatic breathing, whistling ronchi sound while sleeping in bed, where the breathing will be involuntary. Mild to moderate fever (Allergic Hay fever) may also gets with it. Precautions to be taken.- 1. Use long towel/kerchief to protect dust exposure before going dusty areas. 2. Never take cold foods & fruits like grapes, banana, etc. In night, when gets cold/sneezing 3.Take steam inhalation befor going to bed (Eucalyptus oil is good for inhalation) 4. Avoid head bath during cold conditions. 5.Prefer good environment in living. 6. Take simple easily digestible veg. Foods (less oil ,spice) 7. Use head-protective measures while going outside in cold climate 8. Take blood Routine Examination initially, to rule out allergies. 9. Take proper medication when in need. I.e.- A simple cold will exhaust without any medicine in 3-4 days. But if the mucous aspirant gets infected, medicine should take to prevent infection. 10. In Homoeopathic treatment, lot of medicines comes for cold. One should consult a Homoeopathic physician for longstanding complaints. Constitutional medicine will cure the condition well.
