Some tips • Squeeze a lemon in a cup of warm water. Drink this water as soon as you get up in the morning. Drink lots of water throughout the day, keep yourself well hydrated. • Drink green tea in the morning. It has antioxidants that help the body to burn fat and detoxify. Eliminate all juice (except natural pomegranate juice) and soft drinks from your diet. Drink only 1 cup of coffee a day. • Avoid junk food at all cost. • Start exercising. Do ½ hour to 45 minutes of cardio, preferably walking on an incline every day. Dear lybrate user, You should take for glow plenty of liquids like juice, soup,salads, fruits, veg.smoothy, protein, carrot juice daily. Avoid spicy, oily food. Wash your face thrice daily.

Hai, I am diabetic for last 22 years, taking insulin mixtard 30, 26 unit in the morning and 22 units in the evening along with tablet Galvus met + zoryl m2 in the morning and zoryl m2 in the evening. My blood sugar is between 160-180 fasting, and between 250-300 2hours after meals constantly. I am regular non-veg and I don't exercise, I walk at least 1.5 km daily for my regular work. I live on 4th floor, and I go up and come down at least 3 times daily. What should I do to control my blood sugar level. Kindly advise me.

I recommend to control your sugar level 1) a healthy and well balanced diet having regular meals. Divide your meals into 5 to 6 times. 2) one teaspoon of methi seeds soaked overnight in 100 ml of water is very effective in controlling diabetes 3) good fats such as omega-3 and monounsaturated fats (mufa) should be consumed as they are good for the body. 4) diet should be high in fiber. Let whole grain cereals & flour, salad vegetables, green leafy vegetables & fruits be an integral part of your meals.

Exercise – Do at least one exercise twice or once every day, its help to boost your metabolism. 1)walking – 30 -40 min/day 2)Aerobics – 30-40 min /day 3)Cycling – 30-40 min / day 4)Meditation – 30 min /day 5)Skipping – 30-40 min/day 6)Swimming – 30-40 min/day 7)Jogging -30-40 min/day 8)Playing out door games – like football, basketball, tennis, badminton etc. Eat health food , avoid junk food , drink plenty of water , sound sleep .

Change food habites. Add in your daily food carbohydrates, vitamines, minirales, proteins, green vegitabales, salad will help you. Take prosup powder 2 spoon in s glass of milk after dinner. During study take some snake after 2, 3 hours.

Hye, thanks for the query. The moment you think of weight gain, whatever is your workout or diet intake, does not justify taking a protein supplement. You cannot gain weight by just adding a protein source to your diet. Weight gain needs additional calories through a balance of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats and exercise. Proteins are not stored in the body like other nutrients. Your body will utilize only as much protein it needs and the rest will be broken down for energy purpose which is it's secondary function; main being building/repairing muscles. Depending on the exercise (ie. Strength training/cardio or activities like gymnastics or weight lifting) your body's needs for proteins varies. Although whey is natural and the most easily and quickly assimilated form of protein - it is not needed to be exclusively included in your diet. You have to have a balanced healthy protein rich diet for the supplement to be utilised. Protein need totally depends on your present food intake & activity levels. So, for weight gain you need a balanced, calorie dense diet and a good exercise routine.

Hi Saravan 1.Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food, Take home made food 2.Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 3.Take Proper Diet, like milk,vegetables/ fruits, good protein like soya, sprouts, Paneer etc 4. Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 5. Moderate physical activity regularly 6. Do Not postpone Breakfast

Heredity play a role in diabetes. There is no age restriction. It can affect children, young adults also. Reduce your weight to the ideal weight as per your height and avoid excess sugar/ carbohydrate/ high calorie diet.

First of all you have to understand that age is just a number I have seen international sports people playing their respective games at the age of 40 44 45 and even 47 so at 34 you can get anything that you want all you need is a will power and determination, as per your question you are slim and you want to make a good body, so first try to gain weight naturally for that you can start with surya namaskar regularly in morning before that make sure that you are not having any stomach worms because sometimes people have worms in the stomach and they don't realise it and which result in low weight. You can also eat 3 bananas with hot milk in morning as your first thing to eat you can also drink ginger tea thrice a day which will help you in gaining weight, make sure when you are eating your food that is your lunch dinner or breakfast put some extra cow ghee over it specially on dal and green vegetables cow ghee is very useful in gaining weight.

I advice you include protein rich food in your diet and like soyabean, egg, milk and milk products combination of cereals and pulses, sattu with milk, sprouts and take heavy breakfast. Do exercise regularly.

Please follow the below recommendation for your conditions: Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.
