Hi, Eat frequent calorie dense food i.E instead of eating large portion eat every two hours something which is good in protein and energy. Good options for you are nuts, milk and milk product, chicken, eggs, pulses etc. Healthy regards Dt.Farzana Chauhan

Dear Lybrateuser, - To build your body & to keep yourself fit you have to take a well balanced diet & do regular exercises - have more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy & seasonal ones, protein rich foods including eggs, non veg including seafoods, meats, milk & milk products, soya products, tofu, whole grains including whole wheat, brown rice, oats, corn, also sprouts, nuts like almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts - have 8-10 glasses of water for sufficient hydration - do regular exercises like jogging, playing a game, swimming, cycling for 15-20 min, also do moderate weight lifting for 15-20 min 2-3 times a week, do yoga & deep breathing to build your body & keep yourself fit - sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night which reduces stress & boosts your immunity.

You should focus on eating a healthy diet. You can take any good mutivitamin for 15 days. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Combination of Foods

Combining various food groups to ensure variety and nutrition is the way long back known fact of healthy eating.

The importance of variety in grains along with combination of various groups like:

Starches, Veggies, proteins, fats and fruits are also important.

Different grains like soya, black gram flour, Bajra, jawar, barley, and ragi can be included in daily diets along with wheat to ensure complete mineral intake.

Multigrain chapatti, chilla, various cereals in breakfast, roasted grains as snacks can help to include them in the daily diet.

The food group combination to avoid indigestion and maximum absorbability of nutrients are also important. Since different foods digest at different digestion environment, thus foods need to be eaten in groups that complement factors.

Some basic food combining facts are:

  1. Don't combine starches and proteins together as they require a different strength of acidity in your stomach.
  2. Combine a protein and grain with non-starchy vegetables.
  3. Dried fruits, nuts, and seeds are best eaten with raw vegetables.
  4. Fermented food can be eaten with most of the combinations.
  5. Combine a fruit and raw vegetable or salad to delay sugar release of the fruits.

Figs are mainly made of polyunsaturated fats, which add healthy calories to your diet. Also, figs contain a good amount of carbohydrates that will help you gain weight. Soak five to six dried figs in water overnight. The next day, eat them in two parts during the day. Do this daily for about a month. Alternatively, soak two dried figs overnight in milk and eat it before breakfast. Follow this routine for two months.

To increase your stamina you need to have complete sound sleep of 6-8 hours. Sleep & wake up early. Exercise daily early morning as it peps up your energy level by releasing happy hormones. Drink 2-3 litres daily water to prevent dehydration & thus low stamina. Have plenty of fresh fruits & vegetables, green tea as these provide antioxidants that increase immunity & thus stamina. Include good quality proteins like fish/ chicken/ egg/ dairy product (esp curd), nuts, oilseeds, cereal-pulse combinations as it helps with body building, tissue repair, improved immunity & stamina. Eat small meals every 2-3 hours to keep your energy levels boosted.

Hello! you need to do your breakfast. Its compulsory. Try calorie n nutrition dense milk shake (like banana n dry fruit milk shake or fruit as per your choice with curd) for breakfast initially. Start small n frequent healthy eating.

When it comes to eating junk food one may blame the brain. Addiction is a disease and the same has been proved by a study.
Two areas of the brain have to work together to give the self?control to reject unhealthy foods. California Institute of Technology researchers used MRI to scan the brains of volunteers as they looked at photos of dozens of types of foods and decided which ones they'd like to eat. They found significant differences in the brain activity between people who had self?control in terms of making food choices and those with no self?control.
An area of the brain called the ventromedial prefrontal cortex is involved in all value?based decisions. When ventromedial prefrontal cortex activity decreases, a person will probably reject an item, whereas increased activity means they?ll probably choose it.
The study published in the journal Science found that in people with no self?control, the ventromedial prefrontal cortex seemed to take into consideration only the taste of a food.
In people with good self?control, another area of the brain called dorsolateral prefrontal cortex becomes active and modulates the basic value signals so that the self?controllers also incorporate health considerations into their decisions.
The study showed that ventromedial prefrontal cortex is active during every decision and that the DLPFC is more active when a person is using self?control.

Hi, do regular exercise atleast 20 minutes daily. You should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the morning. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Include more fruits and vegetables in your diet. Add protein rich food in your diet. Take small and frequent meals. Drink more water in a day. Avoid junk food and oily food. Your blood cholesterol has nothing to do with your diet cholesterol. Actually Statin drugs have a lot of side effects. Change your lifestyle and eating habits your lipid profile will get better. Take a coenzyme q10 with novastat. Also some tips how to lead a healthy lifestyle. 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. 1. Start cardiovascular exercises like running, jogging, cycling etc. 2. Avoid carbohydrates and fats. 3. Avoid processed and junk foods. 4. Start exercising. Both body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, squats and weight training in the gym is helpful. 5. Stay hydrated. 6. Have a light dinner. 7. Evening walk is always recommended. 8. Green veggies complete your nutrient requirements. 9. Consume all types of protein both from veg and non veg sources. 10. Sleep well.

Low blood pressure is no criteria. Please et yourself properly examined for weakness ie your blood count including hb%, fbs, if you are female then mensturation history, your job which may cause anxiety stress which leads to weakness. There many more causes or for which you need through examination.

Take cal. Phos 12 x natrum mur 12 x two tablets of each medicine thrice a day for one week. Have banana smoothy with sugar for atleast two months to gain weight. Also take 10 almonds and soak it overnight peel off the cover and beat it with 40 grams of butter and ten gram sugar apply the paste on chappati or bread and eat it with milk atleast for three months. Do not take junk food. Drinking full cream milk with sugar is also useful.

If you know your diet is low you have to improve on that unless you eat properly how will you become healthy and efficient there is no substitute to food medicines can't do what food has to do for your body also schedule your days time wise and follow it properly include some exercises also in your daily routine to keep you fit.

Feeling pain in both knees and it goes from knee to shin. If I sit on my toes and get up, i feel some pain. Though, I get temporary relieve when I implement oil. Can you suggest some alternate?

Use hot ware , dip your kegs at night before sleep with Salt in it for 10-15 minutes and then wipe this with towel and apply any veg oil below all over.
