You have to eat smaller meals 5-6 meals per day and take lots of fruits and vegetables ; do exercises early morning take vit b rich fruits take bakery foods to increase your weight and ofcourse all foods in proper rda quantity.

I am 22 years old. I have always been a skinny girl. Almost everyone including my family used to tell me to eat something so that I cud gain muscle. And I dnt knw whether they cared bt as long as I cn rmmbr ,i hv always been on the receiving end of these low wt talks. Lst yr, I was so fed up ,i decided to gain wt to shut thm up and to feel a little mre good abt myself. Nw,i hv gained wt and trust me, its nt much. Its jst that my face looks a little more round than before and I can finally feel my stomach thats on level with my body. I am as agile as I used to be. But suddenly everyone hs started again. They tell me that my face looks funny nw. I was beautiful earlier. They stre me as if I am a walking elephant nw. Although my wt is almost fine. I dnt knw what they want me to do nw. They wrap these talks into things lk I wud end up feeling that they are just advising me to look bttr ,as if they r act. concerned. I cn lose wt again bt what's this thing with my cheeks .i dnt knw what to do abt that. I dnt want to lose wt and I my body looks good bt these r the ppl I live with. Dear lybrate user Rajni ,we can not make everyone happy its just impossible what any one can do is to make himself happy, we cannot change the thinking of people around us but its in our hand that we take the important things from them and leave the useless things .Once there was a boy,his father and his horse were going ,both of them were on horse then people said how cruel they are ,then father started to walk and son was on horse then people said how selfish is the son his old father is walking and he is enjoying on horse then son started to walk and father on horse then people said how cruel is father ,then both started to walk then people said how foolish they are they are walking with horse ,so the moral of the story is people will say in every situation.we get only one life after that we don't know what will happen in future, what we can do is to live every second of life ,enjoy every moment of life ,is it really right that for some one you are upset??tell me one thing if someone gives you something and you will not accept then that thing will be with that person only. This is the time that you should start thinking about yourself, only about yourself ,what do you want to be, what do you want to eat, to do, your career, your friends, your likings etc. Develop some hobby, make some good friends, make yourself busy, as much you will think you will get frustrate and will gain nothing, live only for yourself, and this can be possible when you will involve yourself in some other things first start from joining any hobby class and make any good friend with whom you can share everything .take care.

It is not a good idea of Increasing intake of junk foods and fatty foods to gain weight. You should be eating calorie dense yet nutritious food. Your calorie intake should come from foods that are healthy for you. The weight gaining diet should include high protein foods, high carbohydrate foods and healthy fats. Include these in your diet. Breakfast: Banana and milk or banana shake or smoothie, whole-grain toast, fruits, nuts. Eat more fruit and drink less juice. Do not take milk mixed with ghee . It is not healthy. Lunch: Roti or chapatti or wholegrain bread, rice, green vegetables, paneer, dal, chole recipe, black-eyed beans (lobia), rajma, whole wheat pudding (dalia), etc Dinner: Similar to lunch In-between meals:: fruit, sandwich, yogurt (curd), milk, cheese, salad Avoid deep fried snacks like samosa (samosa recipe), pakodas, bhujia etc. Avoid fast foods .

Underweight is a term describing a person whose body weight is considered too low to be healthy. The definition usually refers to people with a body mass index (bmi) of under 18.5 a weight 15% to 20% below that normal for their age and height group. Low weight may be due to improper diet, reduced assimilation from intestine, illness, metabolism, genetics etc. Thus first we have to rule out any such condition, with this have a healthy diet with more proteins (legumes, eggs, fish, lean meat, vegetables and fruits, drink plenty of water and go for regular exercise. A homoeopathic constitutional treatment will definitely help you a lot.

To maintain a fit bodyt: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.
