Dear lybrate user, increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is whey protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

To lower down body heat- * drink 10 ml gulab jal twice a day with a glass of water. * do not eat non veg (chicken, eggs), peanuts (moong fali), dry fruits especially kashew (kaju). * drink upto 2-3 liters of water everyday. * practice sheetali pranayan in the morning for 5-8 minutes.

Diet and workouts go a long way in helping you gain strength to gain weight, you must eat more calories than you burn. When you gain weight, some will be fat and some will be muscle. It's all about balance in diet and exercise. Supplements don't work in isolation. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

HI, Please follow these tips to get rid of constipation: 1. Drink 2-3 lts of water per day. 2. Consume lot of fibre in your diet like raw vegetables, fruits, whole grains, oats. Etc. 3. Eat one fully ripe big banana at bed time. 4. Drink one glass of hot milk with one spoon of ghee in it at bedtime. 5. Take your food at regular intervals. Avoid spicy and oil fried food. 6. Never curb the urge to pass stools. 7. Never put in lot of pressure to pass stools. 8. Take 1tsf of Isabgol powder with a glass of hot water at bedtime to get an easy evacuation. 9. Do sitz bath twice daily.

Hye, Thanks for the query.  Winter is the time when your immunity is low. The body's metabolism is also low as the body wants to conserve energy. It's that one time when you feel lazy to hit the gym and want to reach out for comfort foods like pastries or salty foods. Try to avoid refined flours and go for whole grains like wheat, bajra, nahi.  Avoid simple sugars in excess. Include at least 3 to 5 servings of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Include a protein source in each meals like dal,  pulses, dairy, nuts etc. Drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water per day. Include healthy fats like ghee, nuts, dairy in your diet. Include hot soups, kheer,  kanjis, dal pani etc in your diet.  Exercise at least 3 times a week.

I run last 15 days my target is 5 km run and I not complete 5 km run how to complete my run target? And increase my running stamina?

Body takes time to build stamina. Do running regularly. Do not give up. Keep increasing distance bit by bit. Warm up for 10 mins before run. After run, do stretches for 10 mins. After few weeks you will see the result.
