Hello, i am 23 years old I had my gall bladder removed because of multiple stones in it, from that time when ever I eat something I feel some disturbance and I feel nausea, sometimes I vomit little amount of food, i'm very fed up with my present body condition, even when I get up in morning my stomach will be full of gas and I cant tolerate it, daily i'm having motions twice in morning, once when I get up and after having food I feel bowel movements, am I having any liver problem? because daily im having sugercane juice, and when ever I drink it I feel bit happy with my stomach,

Removal of gall bladder normally does not cause any problems. If you feel gaseousness, do some abdominal exercises and certain asanas like manduk asan and pawan muktasan, these should help. Also get your liver function tests done once to check liver function. Eat normal healthy diet and avoid smoking and alcohol. Excess cane sugar juice is not required.

Hello doctor. I am becoming thin and unhealthy .I'm becoming skinny. My hands are becoming thin both upper arm, biceps and wrist. My skin and hair is also degrading as I'm getting darker and hair falls rapidly. I want to build my muscles ,make my hands wide and also want to gain back my actual skin and hair. Please help me. Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal.  · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. Milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts (soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. Rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. Sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad.  · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day.

Two glasses of milk contain around 14 gram of protein while the polyunsaturated fats in almond add those extra calories when included in the everyday diet. Crush a handful of almonds and add it to the boiling milk. Simmer it for five minutes. You can sweeten it with a tsp of sugar. Then, pour it in a glass and sip it slowly. To make it more effective, you may put in dates and dried figs in the boiling milk. Drink it twice daily for two months.

Ajay u should start to take healthy diet nd light walk which will increase ur metabolism and will increase ur appetite..you can use small diet in small frequent interval..u should take high protein diet like whole egg..full cream milk...any fruit shake with milk and fruit. ..stuffed parantha like paneer or potato parantha with butter..vegetable with dry fruits,potato....jaggery...rice kheer..sprouted chana. *In sleeping time warm milk with honey.. *consume dry fruits..its best for weight gain.. *avoid junk food.. *you should take proper sound sleep.

Your sleep is a little on the excessive side. I suggest you meet with a counselor and even a physician to make sure that other matters may not be contributing to your problems. It sounds like that the feeling of weakness and sleepiness may be connected to a mild depression. In the meantime do some of these recommendations very faithfully: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food.

I am overweight. I joined gyms, health clubs but couldn't loose weight after heavy workout! What are the best cardio machines to be used for weight loss and how?

Hello lybrate user, the equipment's may not be responsible for your inability of reducing weight. 70% contribution of weight loss is due your diet and food habits and rest 30 % with exercise and rest. So please concentrate and improve your diet. To drop 1 kg of body fat= burn/ reduce 7500 calories. What do you think is the better option? burning 200 calories/ day through exercise or cutting 500 calories/ day from diet burning 200 calories/ day than through exercise=1 to 1 1/2 hrs at the gym on the treadmill/ on the rowing machine or cutting 500 calories a day from their diet= just cutting off a couple of sodas, or burger and pizza with cream cheese. So - eat a low calorie well balanced diet. - reduce consumption of fast foods, junk foods, fried foods -eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables -improve your protein intake by including pulses, dals, eggs, lean poultry etc -drink at least 3 liters of water -have adequate sleep of 7 hrs daily -along with cardio exercise include weight training exercise at least for 2 days in a week and 1 day rest.
