Have high-carbohydrate foods, high-calcium foods and moderate-protein foods. Your nutrient intake should meet your Recommended Dietary Allowances. Your food intake should be more than your activity level (calories burnt).

I want to know that my feet gets heat up in night and m also underweight pls suggests.
Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal.  · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad.  · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day.

Dear lybrateuser, - It is better to avoid vitamin tablets for increasing stamina & fitness as they do not contribute much towards it if you have a well balanced diet along with regular exercise & keep stress level low - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, protein rich foods such as eggs, non veg, milk & milk products, legumes, sprouts, soya products, nuts, healthy fats as in fish, olive, canola or sunflower oil, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews & seeds - supplements should be taken only if there is a deficiency state due an imbalanced diet or some intestinal disorder where it can't be absorbed adequately.

You need to gain weight in a healthy way, that is naturally through a balanced diet, protein supplements (natural if required) and strength training sessions. Don't loose hope, follow a correct approach and you will surely get results. Goodluck!

I had an accident 3 year ago, with bike . Now I am having pain in my left leg knee and the upper muscle of the left leg knee. I don't know wether it is related to that accident or not . But I use to sleep on my stomach side because of it . Please suggest me some way ?

I have knocking sound from my knees whenever i move it. suggest ways to overcome this.?

Knocking sounds around your knees. Firstly we need to know your age. If your elderly the sounds can be crepitus and be a part of arthritis. However if you're young it could be just a snapping noise from soft tissue structures around the kneecap. If these noises are not associated with pain you need not worry about it. However to reduce the noise you might need to do exercises to strengthen the knee cap. Clicking noises are due to cartilage tear and might warrant further investigation like mri and usually associated with mechanical symptoms and pain.
