A quick and easy solution can be found in your kitchen or your nearest grocery store — lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 1. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 2. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.

I want to become fair what should I do?

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda,
Use tomato mashed tomato pulp on your skin to give a pinkish glow to your skin. Tomato is very good for giving you fair skin tone. Home remedy of tomato also absorbs excess oil of your face to treat open pores of your face. Take half teaspoon of honey with a pinch of cinnamon; apply on your face to get fair skin at home. Apply cucumber juice with lemon juice to lighten your skin. This home remedy is very useful for making oily skin fair. Apply plain curd on your skin to get fair and soft skin. Curd is a good source of zinc and lactic acid, both aid in lightening the skin tone. Curd is an excellent home remedy for getting fair skin. Any queries inform me.

My daughter aged 19 years is suffering from Urticaria. Please suggest medication for her and also inform causes for t...
Urticaria (sometimes called hives) is an itchy rash caused by tiny amounts of fluid that leak from blood vessels just under the skin surface. Urticaria is classed as: • Acute urticaria - if it develops suddenly and lasts less than six weeks. Most cases last 24-48 hours. About 1 in 6 people will have at least one bout of urticaria in their life. It can affect anyone at any age. Some people have recurring bouts of acute urticaria. • Chronic urticaria - if it persists long-term. Chronic means persistent or ongoing. In chronic urticaria a rash develops on most days for at least six weeks. This is uncommon. About 1 in 1,000 people develop chronic urticaria at some stage in their life. It is more common in women than it is in men. Some people have an urticarial rash on and off for months, or even years. • The rash can affect any area of skin. Small raised areas called weals (or wheals) develop on the skin. The weals look like mild blisters and are itchy. Each weal is white or red and is usually surrounded by a small red area of skin which is called a flare. The weals are commonly 1-2 cm across but can vary in size. There may be just a few but sometimes many develop over various parts of the body. Sometimes weals that are next to each other join together to form larger ones. The weals can be any shape but are often round. • As a weal fades, the surrounding flare remains for a while. This makes the affected area of skin look blotchy and red. The blotches then fade gradually and the skin returns to normal. Each weal usually lasts less than 24 hours. However, as some fade away, others may appear. It can then seem as if the rash is moving around the body. The rash may clear completely only to return a few hours or days later. A trigger is thought to cause the release of chemicals (such as histamine) from cells in the skin. The chemicals cause fluid to leak from tiny blood vessels under the skin surface. The fluid pools to form weals. The chemicals also cause the blood vessels to open wide (dilate) which causes the flare around the weals. The trigger is not known or identified in many cases. Possible causes in some cases include the following: • In many cases the cause may be an autoimmune problem. Autoimmune means that our own immune system causes damage to some of our body's own cells. Normally, our body makes proteins called antibodies to fight infections; for example, when we catch a cold or have a sore throat. These antibodies help to kill the germs causing the infection. In autoimmune diseases the body makes similar antibodies (autoantibodies) that attack its normal cells. In urticaria, these antibodies attach to cells under the skin and cause them to release histamine and other chemicals. The reason why this happens is not clear. • An allergy to a food, medicine or parasite (such as worms in the gut) is an uncommon cause of persistent (chronic) urticaria. A skin specialist may advise tests if an allergy is suspected. • Physical urticaria. This is a type of urticaria in which a rash appears when the skin is physically stimulated. The most common example of this is called dermatographism (dermatographia) - a rash develops over areas of skin which are firmly stroked. In other cases an urticarial rash is caused by heat, cold, emotion, exercise, or strong sunlight. This kind of urticaria often causes bouts of sudden-onset (acute) symptoms, but sometimes causes chronic symptoms. • A germ (bacterium) called Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) which is commonly found in the stomach may be a factor in some cases. If you are infected with this bacterium and it is cleared with treatment, it may cure the problem with urticaria. Occasionally a trigger such as a food is identified which causes the rash. You may then be able to avoid it. However, it is unusual to identify a trigger. For example, if a food trigger is suspected, then you may be asked to keep a food diary to try to identify which food is responsible. Various other factors may make symptoms worse (but are not the main trigger). The following are things that some people have found helpful, but there is little proof that they work in everybody: • Try avoiding tight clothes, as weals sometimes tend to occur at sites of local pressure. For example, under belts, under tight-fitting shoes, etc. • Try keeping cool, as urticaria may tend to flare up in warmer conditions. In particular, keep the bedroom cool at night. • Some things worth considering include: alcohol, hot baths, strong sunlight, and undue emotion. If you think any of these are making symptoms worse then it may be helpful to avoid them. • See a doctor if you think a medicine is making symptoms worse, as a change in medication may be an option. Some medicines that may be triggers include aspirin,anti-inflammatory painkillers, codeine, and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. • Homoeopathic treatment • SULPHUR 30 ( Dr.Reckeweg) Drink 5 drops in 1 spoon fresh water today night 30 minutes after eating or drinking anything at bedtime. • Nw forget about Sulphur 30 after this nd just keep it in your refrigerator. No need to further take this medicine.I will let u know what to do with this medicine afterwards. • FORMULA-D TABS ( BAKSON ) Chew 1 tab 3 time a day for 1 month DERM-AID SOAP ( BAKSON) Use only thiss soap on body • P.L.30 ( Dr.Reckeweg) 4 tabss 3 times a day.Ask the pharmacy incharg from where u buy these medicines to prepare this P.L.30. • Report after 1 month • Eat nutritious diet • Avoid nuts, chocklates, dry fruits, fasst, fried food. • •

Her breast produces liquid white discharge during love-making sessions, when pressed with even little pressure. Only the left breast. Is it anything to be concerned about?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
Normal nipple discharge more commonly occurs in both nipples and is often released when the nipples are compressed or squeezed (nipples may secrete fluid when they are stimulated or squeezed during love making). Some women who are concerned about breast secretions may actually cause it to worsen. They do this by repeatedly squeezing their nipples to check for nipple discharge. In these instances, leaving the nipples alone for a while may help the condition to improve. So no problem in your case. It is normal---------------------

I've black spots on my face. What should I do to reduce them.

BHMS
Homeopath,
I've black spots on my face. What should I do to reduce them.
Hi. Follow the below points if those are acne marks: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Use Bakson's Apricot scrub at least once a week.

Hi, it appears that you have not taken treatment, please note that chicken pox is an infection and needs to be treated. Proper treatment minimizes complications, be careful for others in future. As far as your current condition is concerned, avoid sun exposure, use sun screen every 4 hrs during day time, wash your face twice daily.

Hello, The black corners of the mouth or black discolouration around mouth can be due to lip licking, vit. B2 deficiency, smoking, overexposure to sun or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. So, take some vitamin B12 supplements (like becosule) and avoid lip licking. Keep yourself well hydrate, drink 10-12 glasses of water in a day. You should apply a good lip balm and sunscreen with spf 30 at least half an hour before going out in sun. Also, apply homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Witch Hazel over the affected area twice.

Best Homeopathic Remedies for Urticaria

Homeopath,
Best Homeopathic Remedies for Urticaria

Urticaria, also known as Hives and Nettle Rash. It is an allergic disorder. It is similar to the rashes that are caused due to touching a nettle plant. This allergic reaction can be caused due to a variety of reasons, thus increasing the difficulty in identifying the exact cause of the allergy. Homeopathic medication has proved to be very efficient in treating urticaria. Some of the best homeopathic remedies include:

  1. Apis Mellifica: Described as one of the best solutions to urticaria, this medication is commonly prescribed with regard to treatment. The characterising symptoms of this medication is eruptions accompanied by inflammation and sting. It is similar to the sting of a bee where there is redness and swelling. Exposure to heat in any form is intolerable as the eruption are aggravated. The slightest of touch can cause burning or itching and the patient usually remains thirsty.
  2. Dulcamara: This is a medication that is usually prescribed for Urticaria, caused due to cold air or wet weather or dampness. Consumption of sour food or indefinite diet can cause the eruptions. Even though the skin is often dry, there is redness and itching.
  3. Natrum Mur: One of the frequently used medicines for urticaria, this medicine is prepared from common salt. It is used in cases where the eruptions are triggered by exposure to the sun, thereby resulting in intense itching. The skin has an oily or greasy feel. Most likely locations of occurrence include margins of hair or bends of joints.
  4. Ledum Pal: This medication focuses on the eruptions that occur on the legs and feet. There is a possibility of the infection spreading from the lower to the upper regions at a later stage. Increase in itching can result from the warmth of bed or on scratching. Colder conditions provide a soothing sensation
  5. Astacus Fluviatilis: This is an effective medication that be used to treat, both acute and chronic urticarial forms. Rashes are visible on the entire body and are at an increased sensitiveness to air. It is recommended for liver diseases and liver-related symptoms that are accompanied by urticaria.

What treatments are available for tinea versicolor and which do you recommend?
What side effects can I expect from tr...
Treatment for tinea versicolor may include: Medicine applied to the skin: This is the most common treatment. There are anti-fungal shampoos, soaps, creams, and lotions that can keep the yeast under control.  Oral therapy is also effective for tinea versicolor and is often preferred by patients because it is more convenient and less time consuming. Of course, oral therapy can be used in consort with topical regimens.  Oral therapy does not prevent the high rate of recurrence, and treatment with an oral or topical agent may need to be repeated intermittently throughout the year. Because tinea versicolor is a benign condition and oral therapy is not without risk, the decision to treat with an oral agent should be made only after a complete discussion of the risks involved. Treatment of this problem is long. Dietary alterations have not proved successful in the treatment of tinea versicolor. While choosing homeopathic medicines the various factors are evaluated for example, genetic predisposition, poor immune system, summer aggravation and so on. Homeopathy treatment, which gets to the root of the problem will reinforce the immune system and gradually restore the normal skin color and texture. Homeopathy treats the disease from its root ensuring the patient not suffering the similar problem in the future.

I think you have stretch marks. Sudden gain or loss in weight, rapid growth, heredity factors, stress and changes in physical conditions leads to stretch marks. Stretch marks happen after delivery too. Stretch marks can make you feel self-conscious and uncomfortable about your appearance. But, don't worry, there are several natural ways to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. The stretch marks fade away with time. 1. Try to scrub the area daily and put vitamin e oil 2. You can also apply some castor oil to the stretch marks and gently massage the area in circular motions for 5 to 10 minutes 3. Use aloe vera gel on the area once a day 4. Use rich cocoa butter before going.
