Use rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE) for pain and swelling. Stop, change, or take a break from any activities that cause your symptoms. Avoid "running through the pain," which may increase damage to your foot. Consider changing your exercise routine if you think running or another high-impact sport is causing your foot pain. Switch temporarily to a low-impact exercise activity, such as cross-country skiing, stair-climbing machines, bicycling (regular or stationary), rowing, or swimming. Use sensible sports training techniques, such as wearing the right shoes and stretching before activities. Wear comfortable and supportive shoes and socks. Consider using an orthotic shoe device, such as an arch support, to help relieve your foot pain. Try heel-cord exercises to increase your strength and flexibility if your heel or heel cord (Achilles tendon) is tight and painful. This may help relieve your heel pain.

For your cure we need diagnosis first. You have answer some questions. Like how it started. When it is more. Which movement increases n which one decrease pain. Like bending forward increases or decrease pain. What is exact site of your pain. Any history of fever in recent past. And one x-ray.

When I take my bp readings my first reading is about 145/73 and after 5 min it is 130/75 both taken at rest. Why it is so? And my right arm bp is higher compared to left hand by 10-15 points of systolic. Above readings is of left hand.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Ankle stretching. Ankle strengthening exercises. Avoid squatting. Quadriceps exercises. Core strenthening exercises. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

IN HYPOTHYROIDISM:--- where there is deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving thyroxine tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Go for walk, Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, avoid oily foods,junk foods, go for walk. Do Tests every 3 to 6 months. And consult doctor on time.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

There is numbness in my both feet. Used injections and tabs methley cobala predominantly. Little effect for some days but again complete numbness. Please. Solve.

Dear Lybrate User, As per your complains & investigations it seems like spondylitis may be due to Osteoarthritis OR Rheumatism OR degenerative joint changes. For conformation of this you need to under go some investigations. Initially avoid yogurt, curt, excessive spicy & slaty foods, fast food & junk food, cold water/milk, cold drinks, avoid sprouted pulses like mung-chana etc. Don't sit directly at floor. Have hot fomentation on Joints & painful area, do small exercises of joints, Took proper sun bath, fruits & vegetables except all beans & pulses. It seems like a nerve irritation of the nerve going down to your leg. Avoid sitting for long time and start lying on your tummy by keep two pillows below your chest. Maintain this position for at least 15 minutes. Repeat it twice a day. Avoid bending forward.

You need to go for MRI L-S spine for it... This will give you definitely results...and further steps for treatment...without it, it will be difficult to answer any treatment for it... It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Intermittent treatment invariably leads to poor outcomes. Do we extinguish fire stub in our house at the beginning or after the entire house is on fire and run for a fire engine? even if the fire engine arrives and extinguishes the fire. What remains is burnt out house. Similarly. Acting early and aggressively is important in arthritis. If we wait up for inflammation and swelling to occur and cause pain. Not only the inflammation leads to silent destruction of the joints and irreparable damages. But also we will require higher doses of medicines. Regular intake of medications and maintenance of minimum possible blood levels of these medicines to avoid inflammation is the key. All the best. Remember. Time * inflammation = damage. Acting early and aggressively avoiding/minimizing inflammation is the key.

Hello, diet restriction n exercise is very necessary for control of cholesterol along with medicine below drops help you to maintain normal level. Nl-3 drops 20 drops 3 times a day report after 1 month.
