Protein shakes are absolutely safe if they are natural. How can you loose fat by consuming something? it is just in order to give you more energy so that you do not need to eat that much for energy. Protein shakes are just healthy replacements for food. Work out and more protein help you build metabolism, loose weight without getting weak. Proteinex is better than any fancy protein shakes. To loose weight, your calorie intake and calorie burning has to be balanced, that is how gym helps to loose weight, it is not possible without eating right.

Hi that's right as per your height you are overweight and there are specific actions needed for weight loss since the margin to work on is quite a lot. 1. Make your self more active - walk whenever possible/ use staircase / walk & talk 2. Eat small frequent meals 3. Limit processed foods like wafers, biscuits, cakes etc 4. Limit fat intake 5. Add 4 - 5 portions of veggies & fruits for each day 6. Drink lots of water - around 10 - 12 glasses of water/day

Mr. Lybrate-user, it appears the dosage of insulin is not adequate, needs to be uptitrated. This can be done by first targeting fasting sugar level and later pp sugar level. Night time insulin dose can be increased by 2 to 4 units every 3 rd day based on fasting glucose level till target level is achieved, through a system of self monitoring and getting info from your doctor on insulin dose, till a trget level (120 mg fasting) is reached. I do not understand the reason for starting dionil now, because it is not suitable in old age as it can precipitate severe hypoglycemia. Dionil or glimepiride push pancreas beta cells to produce insulin, but if there is no reserve of beta cells then these drugs have no action at all.

Hi pls ,do calf exercise. And skipping is also helpful. You should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 30 minutes daily. Include more vegetable and fruits in your diet. Hello, I am 42 Years male. 1 stunt was in-plant in 2010. I am taking thyronorm 25, Deplatt 150, Tolol-XR 50, Ramistar 2.5, Ecosprin 150 in the morning and Storvas 40 in the night daily. I had DENGUE in Aug. 15 and Virol in Nov. 15. Know I had loss 15 Kgs after nov. 15. I feel more hungry in the morning and I drink 1.5 to 2 ltrs. Of water in the night and drink 3 to 4 Ltrs. It's very surprising that you are consuming alcohol after all the problems. Haven't any doctor advised you to stop alcohol? It's high time. Stop it immediately. Be under the advise of a good physician and trust him. Follow his advise in detail.

Hi lybrate-user, everyone has some belly fat, even people who have flat abs. That's normal. But too much belly fat can affect your health in a way that other fat doesn't. There are four keys to controlling belly fat: exercise, diet, sleep, and stress management. 1. Exercise: vigorous exercise trims all your fat, including visceral fat. Get at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise at least 5 days a week. Walking counts, as long as it's brisk enough that you work up a sweat and breathe harder, with your heart rate faster than usual. 2. Diet: there is no magic diet for belly fat. But when you lose weight on any diet, belly fat usually goes first. 3. Sleep: getting the right amount of shut-eye helps. In one study, people who got 6 to 7 hours of sleep per night gained less visceral fat over 5 years compared to those who slept 5 or fewer hours per night or 8 or more hours per night. Sleep may not have been the only thing that mattered -- but it was part of the picture. 4. Stress: everyone has stress. How you handle it matters. The best things you can do include relaxing with friends and family, meditating, exercising to blow off steam, and getting counseling. That leaves you healthier and better prepared to make good choices for yourself. Medication: 1. Regularly do massage with utsadana powder for 10-15 mins before bath will helps to mreduce the belly fat.

To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Do not starve yourself. Eat small meals 5 times a day. 6. Have barley soup in dinner and avoid rice at night. 7. Drink lots of water daily.

Aim for good health and fitness for life. Running is good exercise, not just for stomach fat but for overall health and wellness. You can start with 30 minutes and increase duration to 60 minutes. There are many ways to lose fat. Any cardio activity like running / aerobics / swimming / football / cycling etc can reduce weight at a fast rate. You also should do abs exercises to get a flat stomach. You can check on youtube for channels like 'Fitness Blender' There you will find a variety of exercises which you can try. Make fitness into fun and stay fit for life.

Hi this can be done in a few steps: eat less chapatis, less rice, i. E. Less carbohydrates. Take more pulses and pulses products. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid taking creamed milk and milk products. Also avoid eating fried foods, junk foods, canned foods, etc. Must take salad with your every main meal. Drink plenty of water. Take green tea instead of normal tea but not more than twice a day. Walk at least for half an hour after dinner at night. Take exercises daily as it helps in better absorption of food.

Can You Lose Fat From Specific Places?

It is often a misconception that you can lose fat from a specific place. If you lose fat from the body, then the fat loss would be from the entire body and won’t be restricted to a specific area of your body. Exercise and diet combined together form an effective tool which you can use to lose fat from your entire body.

The fat in the body is stored in the form of triglycerides, which the body cannot break down for energy. The triglycerides are first broken down to glycerol and fatty acids, which are then released into the bloodstream, following which they can be used as energy. 

Initially the body uses the available carbohydrates present in the blood for energy; fat is only used as fuel after the carbohydrates supply is exhausted. Hence, prolonged steady state exercise, such as jogging for 50-60 minutes is an efficient method of burning fat. Another strategy you may employ to lose fat from your body is by a method called high intensity interval training. 

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is increasingly becoming the new fad in fat loss. This method utilizes a concept where you do an exercise at full thrust for a short time of 20-30 seconds followed by a short rest period of 10-15 seconds; this comprises of one set. Repeat for another 9 to 10 sets for a proper HIIT workout. The idea is to burn energy during the exercise and after the exercise is complete.

The exercises in HIIT are done at full throttle which means your heart rate centers around an anaerobic zone and this creates an oxygen shortage in the body. An effect called EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption) is induced in the body that results in an elevated metabolism for up to 24-48 hours after the workout. So you would be burning fat simply by doing nothing.

The fat loss process occurs when the fat cells around the body shrink. Doing body specific exercise such as crunches to lose fat from the stomach does not work and will only work the muscle underneath the fat. It is better to focus on compound exercises that involve the entire body to burn more calories and lose fat from the body.

Go for brisk walk 45 minute daily. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.

Good that you thing about your health. Start brisk walking in the morning. Do some exercises or you can consult to a physiotherapist for an exercise programe according to your health. If you dnt have time to visit a physio you can call for home physiotherapy treatment. Some abdominal exercises are must as fat accumulates at the abdomen first. Avoid nonveg, oily food, junk food.
