Hello,Homoeopathic medicines are less invasive and have more herbal approach towards gaining the weight. avoid to take sleeping pills its not a good in ayurveda there is mention panchakarma treatment ..... panchakarma means five procedure for detoxification of body in this five procedure for sleep you should do SHIRODHARA treatment .....you will get good result so consult good ayurvedic doctors

Hye, Wajan kam hona poshtikta ki kami ka asar hota hai.  Aap theek see waqt waqt pe khaye.  Ek waqt pe poshtik khana khaye. Thoda Thoda samay samay pe khana le. Din mein 6 se 7 baar acche se pet bhar khaye.  Bahar ki khane ki cheze kam le. Inse sirf charbi badhegi maas nahi.  Khane mein fal sabji ghee dal dahi roti chawal doodh shengdaana khajoor lassi batata le. Chai coffee soda kam le, isse poshtikta nahi milti balke pet jaldi bhar jaata hai.  Sahi samay pe Sahi matra mein khaoge tho wajan acche se  badhega. Wyayam hafte mein 3 din zaroor kare. Wyaayam se maas aur wajan badhega aur bhook bhi lagegi. Sirf 2 ya 3 baar khane se kamjori hogi.  Meetha khaana ho tho ghar pe banaaya kheer sheera lassi basundi le. Sirf dawa ya protein powder ya tonic lene se wajan nahi badhega. Uske liye acche se khaana aur Wyaayam bahut zaroori hai. Nahi tho powder ka bhi asar nahi hota. Apne aap ko waqt de, wajan badhne mein waqt lag sakta hai.

Lybrate-user, if any one has hypothyroidism, then only way to treat it is to take thyroxine hormone as a replacement. The condition occurs due to deficiency of thyroxine hormone produced by thyroid gland. This hormone is required for development and functioning of brain on day to day basis. Plus it is necessary for multiple metabolic activities in the body. If not provided (as tablets of thyroxine) then considerable problems occur including weight gain, slow heart rate, tired feeling, early fatigue, lack of interest, dry hair, dry skin and hair fall, difficulty in speech, inability to concentrate, swelling of face and lower limbs, irregular periods and excess flow, irritability, anxiety and depression. Only remedy for this is taking thyroixine tablets for life time. There are no other options. Choice is yours. Thanks.

Eating rice 3 times is not good....have protein rich foods like all milk and milk products, eggs, pulses, sprouts, nuts, tofu, rajmah, chole, soyabean, paneer, chicken, fish etc to gain healthy weight.

You may grow a little more since you are now 18 years old. You should aim to eat healthy natural foods. Right now your height to weight ratio is also fine. Please avoid eating supplements/medicines for growth. They all have side effects and they may damage something in you permanently. Better to eat natural foods. Do gymming / exercises regularly. Be fit and be confident.

Iam 28 years female wth right knee partial acl tear. Now I met with an accident and got fractured of lateral condyle comminuted fx and underwent Orif surgery. Will I be able to walk again without any support. I mean after 8 months at least. Please be frank and reply.

it takes atleast a minimum of 6-8 weeks after surgery to mobilise your knee joint and depending on the healing to start weight bearing. by around 3 months if the fracture healing is satisfactory you will be fully weight bearing. hope this answers ur question

Baking powder contains baking soda. It is a mixture of baking soda, cream of tartar (a dry acid), and sometimes cornstarch. These days, most baking powder sold is double acting. This means that the first leavening occurs when baking powder gets wet– like when you combine the dry and wet ingredients in the recipe.If you have a baking recipe that calls for baking soda, and you only have baking powder, you may be able to substitute, but you will need 2 or 3 times as much baking powder for the same amount of baking soda to get the same amount of leavening power, and you may end up with something that’s a little bitter tasting, depending on the recipe.

if xrays didnt show any bone injury then it could be that you have soft tissue damage inside the joint. MRI scan will show soft tissue injuries. consult an ortho surgeon and he would be able to advise you after examining your knee.

Dear lybrate-user, please get a vitamin d level and calcium levels done. If there is a defeciency it has to be corrected. It will make you feel better. Go for walks in mid morning sun and have milk and other calcium rich items. Consult post you get the reports.

I am a 25 year old married. TTC since 1 year. My cycles are regular no weight gain. I did Usg scan which showed right sided polycystic ovary. I took clomifene citrate and duphaston for 3 months but nothing worked. Later I did follicular study in that my follicle dint get rupture even after HCg shot of 5000IU. Later I did hormonal checkup a week ago in which everything was normal except 2 things I. E. SHBG 24.21nmol/L and a bioavailability testosterone percentage 49.4%. I was worried after seeing this but I wanted to know the significance of these 2 hormones and whether this can be improved naturally and I also wanted to know does these 2 cause infertility? I also wanted to what medicine I can take to rupture my follicle.

Duphaston is given to pregnant woman to retain pregnancy, it is progesterone hormone present in woman to give power for fertilisation and to retain embryo. It is released on 14th day of cycle, once follicle gets ruptured and egg is released, moves towards uterus for ferilization through fallopian tubes. If no pregnancy occurs like in unmarried girls, both hormones the feminizing estrogens and the masculining progesterone starts declining, becomes almost zero and cycle starts, if pregnancy occurs, there is a signal for both hormones to increase gradually. As an added security, for bad cases, duphaston (progesterone) is given to retain the embryo. By the way ipill has high doses of progesterone to stop pregnancy. I do not understand, how were you given clomifene (medicine ti increase the eggs) and duphaston together? now you have to wait for this hormone to come down, which it will on its own, being a fat soluble hormone, it may take few months for normal unaffected cycle to start and for natural follicles to erupt again. You can take syrup evecare 1 spoon per day. But remember no hormones and no erratic treatment for fertility at age 24, when nature is on your side. Regarding polycystic disease, you can take tablet metformin 500 mg /day. But forget getting pregnant till your cycle is normal and ultrasound shows normal follicles day 10 onwards which remain alive and keep growing till day 14, rupture around 48 hours later, doctors give medicines to make follicles strong and healthy. Do write back again.

Hello, hope you are doing good. Drink more water in a day. Avoid frige water, eat fiber content food, like carrot, cabbage, etc etc. Do 30mins of exercise daily.
