Dear, the height of body depends of many factors, but the main factors are: 1. Family history 2. Diet 3. Age 4. Sex 5. Lifestyle these are methods by which you can gain height. 1. You have to add the exercise of stretching of spine daily in morning. Here are the exercises! *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Bone growth depends upon the adequate intake of calcium rich diet. So take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Vitamin d play very important role in bone growth. So sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are notso strong. 4. The growth and height is controlled by growth hormone which is secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. For meditation, listen toslow and spiritual music, take long breaths for 15-20 minutes everyday. It makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly.

Carbs or carbohydrates are present in most foods. They provide energy and ensure that the body functions normally. But refined carbs or the ones that have been processed are very harmful. Apart from adding too many calories, they also increase the risk of developing diabetes and other medical conditions. You find refined carbs in most of the packaged foods - from jellies to pastries, white table sugar to soda pop, cereals to desserts and processed syrups.

Listed below are 4 dangers why we must think before we eat.

1) Carry Minimal Nutritional Value - What distinguishes refined carbs from unrefined carbs is that they don't have the outer bran layer, which is a germ that has several minerals, lots of fibres and essential fatty acids. This bran layer is stripped away to increase the shelf life which gives you refined carbs that have zero to minimal level of nutritional value.

2) Are Addictive - If you are too fond of having pizzas, pastas, burgers etc. Then you may be addicted to eating refined carbs. This happens because of high glycaemic index meal, which increases hunger, stimulates brain regions to associate reward with more food and happiness and decreases blood plasma glucose.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. You are probably suffering from Osteoarthritis (OA) of knee. (TKR) total knee replacement is a good procedure for OA knee. when done in properly selected patient,It gives uniformly good results. In our series we have over 95% satisfied patients. Pain disappears & patients are able to resume activities of daily living (ADL) IN 2-3 Wks. It should be done before the patient becomes bed ridden. No use of doing operation,when patient is not able to take benefit of surgery. Kindly show me x-rays & other reports so that a final decision is taken.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

I have cervical spondylosis. Its very painful. I have severe pain on my shoulder, lower back and hip. Now the pain is continuing to arms and legs. Often my head goes round. I have taken an x ray and it said there is degradation of the bone. Whenever I drive two wheeler my pain increases. At presently I take a pain killer and vertigin 8 mg or 16 mg. For application I use volini or relax gel. Can any one suggest me a good medicine to treat this problem permanently. Is there a permanent treatment in allopathy, ayurveda, homeopathy, acupuncture or any other medicine. Doctors please guide me and prescribe me a medicine to get rid of this problem.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

If eating more fills you up too much, try drinking your calories. Milk, 100-percent fruit juice and homemade smoothies add calories between meals. Hi, I am 28 years old male, recently I came across one article that fenugreek (methi) seeds are good for hair growth. And I understood it is good to consume the soaked seeds of it in the early morning with empty stomach. But, one of my relative told me that fenugreek seeds are not good to consume since it will leads to erectile dysfunction. And, since I am a regular to gym I consume the BCAA (brand chain of amino acids) to reduce the muscle pain and whether it will cause insomnia? 1. For increasing weight. First we have to work on your digestive system. It will do aam pachan and will increase your digestive power and appetite. 2. Show me all reports of blood, urine etc. X rays of both knee joints (digital) this could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikid plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don't ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Please note that if there was high blood pressure in first pregnancy then risk of getting it again in second pregnancy increases. Your wife can get pregnant again, however she needs to be monitored well for her blood pressure through out the pregnancy & there is a possibility that she may deliver prematurely again.

You are 17 years old girl and your body mass index is only 12.85. You r suffering from underweight. Your bmi should be 17- 23 and your ideal weight should be 49- 60kg. So please improve your weight and you should eat protein rich diet in your food like fish, meat, beans, seed, eggs, milk, cheese and chicken. You eat 4 to 5 time in day but in small amount which increase your appetite. You do exercise regularly in the morning.
