My 5year old daughter has asthma what is the effect of using an asthma preventer kingterm? I heard that using it for years might cause home shrinkage. Is it true? Are there any vitamins or supplements to help?

If steroids are given orally for long periods of time than only it will cause bone shrinkage but if given through nebulisation than it won't have any side effects

Hi, I am 28 years old married women. I have my neighbors son who is a teenager. And he calls me didi. But yesterday all of a sudden he came to me and directly asked that "Didi can I masturbate" I was very shocked listening that word from him. I asked him to repeat what he said. Then he told me that his friend circle is influencing too much which is making him to watch porn movies. and to masturbate as well. But I refused him to use my toilet to use for all this shit things. and I also advised him that to leave such kind of friend circle and I can understand your feelings at this age it's very common. But you should first concentrate on your studies not on all this porn and masturbation. But I am worried that does he had any such sex thoughts on me which made him to come and ask me so daily. please advise how to handle him. Actually I am a working women so I don't interact with anybody. But still that guy came and spoke to me like that. Is this triggering me something. Or should I just ignore and move on.

You would have already passed on the message to the chap. If he did not get it. Ignore him and he will. At this age most of the boys have common sexual fantasies about almost everyone! the only concern is that he is bold enough to express it! in case he repeats it, you may discuss it with his mother. Or else do not give him attention!

Hi, Take Rauvolfia 1x, 2 tabs daily morning empty stomach. Drink plenty of liquids and cut down your fat, salt and sugar intake. go for a morning walk daily at least for 30 minutes. Take a sound sleep and try to avoid anger. Home remedies to Control high BP:-1. Bananas are one fruit that people with high blood pressure can eat regularly to control it. Bananas are a rich source of potassium, which lessens the effect of sodium. So, try to eat one or two bananas daily. Along with bananas, you can try dried apricots, raisins, orange juice, spinach, baked sweet potatoes. 2. Eat one or two crushed garlic cloves daily. You can simply crush them with your hands. Crushing garlic cloves creates hydrogen sulfide, a compound that promotes good blood flow, removes gas and reduces the pressure on the heart. If you do not like eating raw garlic or if it causes a burning sensation, then take it along with a cup of milk. You can also mix five or six drops of garlic juice in four teaspoons of water and take it twice a day.

How to get rid of hair above beard line ie upper cheek hairs. Will threading will work because I have facial pimples there? Nd I used to trim it. But these hairs above beard look bad. I m a 18 years boy. please help me out!

How to get rid of hair above beard line ie upper cheek hairs. Will threading will work because I have facial pimples ...
extensive research and the best experienced doctor vil tell you that unwanted hair cannot b controlled or eliminated with home remedies. It is not a useful or helpful measure but if you r still keen on it, you can make a mixture of lemon, sugar, honey, dip a thin cloth in it and apply and remove it from the hairy area. You vil see a slight change which won't b remarkable.Facial and body hair is due to hirsutism. This doesnt improve with home remedies, medicines or creams, but definitely improves with laser treatment. This is the only permanent solution for it.It's very effective, safe and economical. It gives u your money's worth.

I have an attraction of a girl. Everytime in mind this thought ia running in my mind. And out of that reason I can't concentrate on any work that are I doing so what can I do for remove this from my mind.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd

I have an attraction of a girl. Everytime in mind this thought ia running in my mind. And out of that reason I can't ...
You are at an age when sex and the opposite gender will occupy your mind considerably. Since it is an expected development there things that you can do to tide over it. You have to prioritize your needs and wants. Right now studies are a very important part of your life and any neglect of that can have far reaching repercussions. Keep yourself occupied not busy, and complete your studies with a stellar performance. After that you can have all the time in the world to pursue the girl of yoru dreams. In the meantime follow these guidelines to focus on your academics: I suspect that the adolescent issues with regard to hormones may be affecting your ability to concentrate and remember. When the hormones play up, it lasts for a period of close to two years and during that time you could be influenced by three signs directly impacted by the chemical: you will tend to become aggressive and rebellious, you will become sexually active, and you will have acne and pimple problems. The hormonal imbalances may not only impact your memory because of the chemical but also bring some distractions that come with it. But you may work on the following even if the hormones kick in: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food.

Treatment differs for these . Also let me know what medications you are on . There are certain medications of malaria for which resistance have come , if you are on those medications you need to be changed to newer medications .

Save your baby's skin from rashes

MD - Paediatrics
Pediatrician, Aurangabad
Save your baby's skin from rashes
Are those irritating rashes on your sweetheart's skin giving you nightmares? Don't panic. Follow these 3 important instructions:

1. Keep your temptation to bathe your newborn every day. Don't bathe your baby more than 3 times a week. Excessive bathing removes required oils from the baby's skin, making it prone to rashes.
2. Avoid baby products in the early months. These products are very harsh on an infant's tender skin.
3. Take your newborn's hygiene very seriously. Make sure that clothes are properly cleaned before your baby wears those.

My father who is a medical doctor by profession, 51 year old, has done Master's in surgery from amu aligarh, has gone through several ups and downs in life, he worked as CMO in the medical college, later on MO in government hospital, have a family history regarding separation of my parent in 2003 (we are 3 brothers and one youngest sister), he continued to work and be in social life for the next 4-5 years, later on, slowly lacked interest in work and managing between people in workplace and even with friends, and finally left working in 2009 and from then, he is not able to work efficiently or manage a good relation with any one, he was somewhat suspicion in nature, now he became more suspicion. He did not contacted us sometimes for a year and later on we got him by searching somewhere, also, his brother's (my uncle and grandpa family) completely denied him and did not supported at any time and all the family issues were because of them as usually happens in any family. Now the condition is he don't go outside of home for long times, which is really not good for him, he suddenly gets suspicion over anyone, specially when it comes to job and work and most of the time in normal tone. He believe that there is chain of things going against him from his college to anywhere where he wants to work and not letting him do anything. When I say to go outside to even market, he is not interested, it's for the last several years, I did not find a good source to get any information on this, now please guide me to get him and our family a better life. This condition led to severe financial instability, we faced for last 5 years, and now I am working in a bpo to make things better. I searched on the net about this getting to the point the it might be schizophrenia? Something. I'll be really thankful to you.

I understand your feelings. But you must be patient. On your part, you have been experiencing pains of parental seperation and lack/ loss of financial support from your father at this tender age. It s really a high-stress time. Your father's abnormal behavioral symptoms are somewhat overlapping. I mean, many psychotic conditions like schizophrenia, paranoid schizophrenia, progressive dementia-alzhiemers disease, dissociative disorder etc. Manifest through the same symptoms. Moreover, mood disorders like depression may aggravate the problem. Your father has to be properly evaluated/diagnosed by a psychiatrist and treated accordingly. Probably, the family members have to be equiped to manage to lead a better life by recieving family therapy by the concerned professioals since these kind of diseases are generally not curable but can only be better managed.

There are soo many pimple marks on my face how I remove it without any side effect.
These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

I have problem of dandruff from 4 year I try so many thing, consult to so many doc but didn't find any thing because ...
1.Wash hair sparingly and use a good-quality shampoo. Washing hair too often can leave hair dried out, leached of its natural oils, and may damage your hair. Aim to shampoo your hair at most every other day or even only twice a week. 2. Try shampoos that do not contain sulfates or parabens. Sulfates are the chemicals that make shampoos lather up. Parabens are preservatives that cause irritation and eye problems after prolonged use. Both of these chemicals aren't healthy for you or the environment so try to use shampoos with natural cleansers 3.. Use conditioner that matches your hair type, length, and treatment damage. A good rule of thumb is to condition every time you shampoo your hair, although very processed or dyed hair probably needs a little more love than natural hair 4. Be careful about using hair care products with too much protein. Too much protein can leave your hair feeling desiccated and brittle. While protein is the building block of healthy hair, use conditioners that come with balanced ingredients. 5. Rinse your hair with vinegar before shampooing, twice a year. Doing this helps to make your hair look shinier and cleaner; plus, it treats dandruff. Use 1 part vinegar (preferably organic apple cider vinegar) to 3 parts warm water, then rinse and wash your hair as normal. 6. Moisturize your hair. Use five oils: almond, castor, olive, coconut and lavender oils. Mix together equal proportions of each. Alternately, use egg oil. Apply to the hair and leave in for four hours prior to showering out. Repeat twice a week. 7. Eat healthily. Give your hair the right amount of vitamins. Since hair is made of proteins, eat a balanced diet rich in lean protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. A healthy diet will ensure hair that looks and feels better. • Make sure you get plenty of vitamin C. This vitamin strengthens hair. In addition, iron helps transport oxygen to blood vessels, zinc grows and repairs tissue, and omega-3 fatty acids grow healthy hair. • Give your hair some time to show new brilliance. What you eat will not have an immediate difference on the hair you already have, but it will help with hair that is newly growing. • 8. Remove stress from your life. Physical and mental stressors will keep your hair from realizing its full potential. Stress can cause hair loss, so try not to let stress overcome you. This means finding healthy emotional outlets for your stress: yoga, biking, meditation, or other forms of exercise all work well. • 9.Tips • Stress has a bigger impact than you think. Meditation can be very helpful, as well as exercise. • Put an oil on your hair at night before going to shower because this makes your hair shiny. • Do not sleep with wet or damp hair. This will weaken the follicles and make hair strands brittle. Blow dry in low heat at the roots before bed. • Most people use more shampoo than they need. Depending on hair length, you probably only need about a quarter sized dollop. • Don't blow dry hair too frequently. Frequent blow drying, or use of other heat products, can stress your hair. • Rinse your hair under cold water after you finish shampooing and conditioning to make it shine and look even more luscious than it was before. • When towel drying, don't rub the hair vigorously. This splits the hair. Try using a micro fiber towel as they soak up lots of moisture. • You can naturally strengthen your hair by mixing carrots, or Vitamin Water together in a blender and rubbing gently into hair before you wash. Be sure to wash out well.
