Hi lybrate-user to reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

I am 28 years old. Feels lots of itchiness in the body specifically in arms, thighs and hips. It's unbearable itchiness, keep on scratching skin. After itching skin becomes red. Apply coconut oil and massage everyday before taking bath and apply moisturiser after bath. Take an antihistamine in the night for a week if the itching is serious. Consult your dermatologist if it doesn't come down.

Weight loss is not a single day process. You need mental strength to do this. You need to modify food habit. Eat small amount of food 5-6 times instead of 3 big meals. Take watery vegetables. Use unrefined foods. Protein foods will help you to reduce extra fat. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Use lukewarm water. Take proper rest.

I understand your concern because, this kind of extra weight is breeding ground for many diseases (blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, certain kind of cancers, arthritis etc), which can affect the quality of your life ahead. This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it may not reduce weight much. Calorie counting is useless. If you want to count, count nutritional value of food in terms of protein, fiber, good fat etc. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works (moves your weight in right direction) then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of individualized nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

Dear aurvedic treatment can help you out but if its severe than take allopathic treatment for 1 month and then switch to ayurveda. B/w try the tips below: psoriasis is a non-contagious common skin condition that causes rapid skin cell reproduction resulting in red, dry patches of thickened skin. The dry flakes and skin scales are thought to result from the rapid buildup of skin cells. Home remedies: 1. Cover the affected part with a fresh thin banana leaf. 2. Take 15-20 sesame seeds and soak in a glass of water. Keep it overnight and drink on an empty stomach early in the morning. 3. Take 1-2 cup of bitter gourd juice on empty stomach in the morning. Continue this for 5-6 months. Patient may add a tablespoon of lime juice, if they find it difficult to digest the bitter taste.

Dear, do not worry try the tips :: 1. For increasing weight ...First we have to work on ur digestive system..It will do Aam pachan and will increase ur digestive power and appetite.... 2. Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1teaspoon 3 times a day.. 3. Take small meals 4-5 times a day.. 4. Eat healthy n light food .. 5. Drink plenty of fluids.. 6. Avoid constipation... 7. Walk 1 km daily in evening... 8 .Follow up after a week , will start medication which can increase ur weight without any side effect....

Besides diet, excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are known to retard the hair growth and promote hair loss. Cut down on the use of hair sprays, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients which can dry the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also, harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc. Take a toll on the health of your hair. Avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. Excessive exposure to the sunlight, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live-in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minoxidil. Start below mention tips. 1. Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses (soyabean is best for hair), egg, green leafy vegetables, fishes, fruits and nuts etc. 2. Drink more water (12 to 15 glasses per day) 3. Avoid stress and anger 4. For prevention of fungal infection in scalp, wash your hair regularly with some good shampoo. You can use conditioner for smoothing of hair quality. 5. Avoid combing of wet hair. 6. Do not share your towel or comb with other people. Try these tips.

Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

To stop hairfall and get strong and healthy hair have a well balanced diet and work towards reducing stress levels. Include plenty of fruits, green leafy vegetables, dairy products (milk, cheese, paneer, yoghurt, etc,) eggs, meat, pulses, sprouts, whole grain cereals and nuts in your diet. Avoid junk food. Also drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest and maintain regular sleeping hours. Maintain scalp hygiene. Exercise regularly to maintain a healthy body (and incase of vigorous exercise be sure to increase your dietary protein intake accordingly.) incase the problem persists have yourself tested for hormonal imbalances and take treatment accordingly.
