For weight gain in a healthy way, 1. Have soya milk, tofu. 2. Have 3 litres water daily. (70% body is made of water) 3. Have frequent meals comprising foods high in nutrient & energy density but low in volume. Ex, fruit juice, sugarcane juice, cheese p otato chicken sandwich, egg curry, rice/ atta maida roti with ghee, til chikki, dry fruits, premix, malt, soybean cutlets, fish fingers, stuffed parathas, banana, dates, mango. 4. Avoid water with or just before meals 5. Have 15 mins light walk before main meals to enhance appetite. 6. Have atta maida roti/ rice with ghee 7. Practice 30 mins strength exercises daily empty stomach. Consider getting a thyroid test done to rule out hyperthyroidism.

I had a desk job and in last 2 years my weight has gone up from 54 kgs to 68, tge worst part is that the fat is surrounded over the belly, I do not get enough time to exercise, please help.

Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. To reduce weight 1) do not eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating before going to bed is one of the main cause of rapid weight gain. 2) drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday. 3) eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 4) don't skip meals. 5) green tea help with weight loss, is by reducing appetite. 6) eat fresh fruits instead of fruit juices. Fruits are good source of fibre except banana mango, chiku. 7). At least half hour walk/day. All are common things but for definite result you need individual diet and exercise schedule. Itis also necessary to have proper diet plan along with the exercises.

You might be spending a lot to add to your beauty. But there are many bad habits which affect your beauty. Here is the list of the most common terrible habits which might be damaging your skin and health.

1. Squeezing pimples: When you pop a pimple, clogged pore is burst open releasing bacteria. These bacteria come in contact with your rest of the skin and increase the acne. Moreover, habit of squeezing pimples may also leave scars and pock marks. The best way to get rid of pimples is to use medicated/ antibacterial soap and let it heal itself.

2. Licking/ chewing your lips: Chewing your lips make them even drier and chapped. It makes you to lick and chew your lips more often. Excessive lip biting also results into bleeding and infection. To avoid this, get yourself a good lip balm and apply regularly to moisturize and protect your lips.

3. Nail biting: Nail biting result in ugly hands, fingers and nails due to cuticle biting. It can also result in infections of nails, mouth, finger and dental problems affecting your smile too. Work upon triggers to prevent these issues by yoga, manicure etc.

5. Sleeping with makeup on: Make up clog your skin pores and oil glands, making it difficult to breathe and prone to acne. To avoid this, spare sometime before going to sleep to cleanse your makeup and moisturize the skin well.

6. Ignoring the sunscreen: Ignoring sunscreen in summer is exposing your skin to UV rays. UV rays cause wrinkles and dry your skin giving you the older look. To protect your skin from UV rays, use sunscreen before half n hour of going out.

Hello lybrate-user, eat healthy and balanced diet, include high fibers like fruits, vegetables, oats, wheatflakes, pulses. Don't skip your breakfast and eat 5-6 meals in a day restrict high fat diet or junk food (u can eat sometimes but not on daily basis, use healthy oils for cooking except ghee. Do brisk walk 25-30 min/day.

Hi lybrate-user, first you should increase your calories and protein intake, don't skip major meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), eat 6 meals in a day. For good muscle, eat high protein diet like chicken, fish,eggs, paneer, soyabean, sprouts, curd etc, eat peanut butter, dried fruits, shakes etc do workout for 30 min /day for increase appetite.

Your complexion will be similar to your parents' This cannot be changed, but tanning that occurs due to sun exposure can be treated and prevented. Use a good broad spectrum sunscreen during morning and afternoon. Also wear a cap when you go out in the sun.

Hi, I using Supatret 0.04 from and azex 500 from last month. My skin is super oily. Using it daily and azex 500 for three days in week. I have redness. After onth of may suddenly my skin start to become pimple. Can you tell me what other precautions should I add to get quick result with the same treatment.
