Hi, I am a 20 year old girl and I am over healthy. And I have been working out for some months. Although I haven't maintained any certain diet. Will not taking sugar at all help me lose weight?

Only avoiding sugar will not help you to loose weight. You need to follow a good diet plan like start your day with luke warm water and then have a cup of green tea + 5-6 soaked almonds, then go for a brisk walk or do yoga, then have breakfast like milk + musseli / 1 bowl vegetable poha /1 bowl white oats upma /2 besan cheela, then in mid morning have a cup of jasmine tea + 1 bowl of fruit chaat (papaya, pear, apple) then in lunch have 1-2 chapati + veg + curd +salad, then in evening have a cup of green tea + murmura chaat then have a light dinner like 1-2 bowl vegetable soup + salad, saute veggies, roasted paneer etc. Do no skip your meals, drink atleast 8-10 glass of water. Hello Lybrate user, according to your height you have to reduce at least 10-12 kgs. Drink plenty of water. Take fresh fruits like papaya, orange,apple, guava, strawaberries, peaches, plums and vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, ghia, tori ,tinda lady finger etc. Include protein in your breakfast like egg/panner. Avoid fried foods, dal,rice and heavy items at night. Take early and light dinner as much as possible. Do some exercise like walking, cardio atleast 30 mins in a day.

Ask you son to go out and play for 1 hr and do some kind of physical activities like cycling, running, swimming, jumping etc. In diet you need to avoid excess of junk food, oily and fried foods. Include green vegetables and pulses in his diet, avoid refined cereals, cold drinks. If he wants to have some thing good then you can prepare any dish at home avoid having outside food.

you can start with some physical activity like walk, yoga, or running etc during the day. take high fiber diet, include salad and seasonal vegetables in your diet. regular frequent meal will help you to reduce weight. take plenty of water. rest you can check your body constitution ratio, as per that if you follow the diet you can reduce easily.

That's not a big problem. Being consistent is the secret. Commit to eating healthy food (more of natural foods) which are freshly prepared at home. Have fruits and vegetables (at least 2-4 servings each). Avoid all junk food and cold-drinks. Have warm water 30-40 mins before and after meals. Eat frequent small meals. Be active, exercise everyday (walking and yoga can be easily done ). Sleep for 7-8 hrs daily. Good sleep will help your body to recover faster. Be positive and have an optimistic attitude so that all these suggestions can be followed cheerfully without any tension. Do not burden your mind with guilt or negative emotions. Learn to take things gracefully, even your minor failures. Cultivate some good hobby that makes you happy and pleasant. Enjoy the motherhood while losing the weight naturally and easily.

I am getting fat day by day how can I reduce this I have already tried such things like green tea with honey. I want to know the reason and also want proper solutions for reduce my health.

1. You need to walk the right path to reach right destination. 2. Expecting some 'miracle' to happen from things like green tea or honey is just a false expectation. 3. There is no food/drink /herb /medicine to reduce weight. 4. You need to radically slash down your calorie intake. 5. Max 3 teaspoon oil and 3 teaspoon sugar per day. Measure daily. 6. Take 3-4 fruits and 3-4 liters water per day. 7. Use 'My fitness pal' app to monitor your weight loss.

Please help and guide how to reduce face fat and belly fat. I live apart from my family and hence always have outside food due to which I do not have a proper diet.

If you want to reduce fast you need to avoid outside food, junk and oily. Start your day with luke warm water then have a cup green tea + 5-6 soaked almonds and 1 walnut. Then have a bowl of milk + musseli or wheat flakes or 2 boiled egg whites + a cup of milk, then in mid morning you can have a glass of butter milk or coconut water or a bowl of papaya or sprouts, then in lunch you can have 1-2 chapati +veg+salad and dal after 20-25 mins have a cup of green tea then in evening you can have a tea/coffee + murmura chaat or roasted chana (60 gm) then have light dinner 1-2 bowl of vegetable soup + salad and a cup of green tea. 1 The key to successful weight is a commitment to making changes in your diet and exercise habits. Probably you need to make some changes in your diet plan after scientific analysis. 2.It is very important to stop the intake of processed sugars in diet like raw sugar, sweets, heavy packaged salad dressings, fruit juices etc. Make better choices for above like whole fruits, honey or no raw sugar at all, hung curd based dressings. 3.Include more of whole grains like multigrain chapatti and brown rice instead of single grain breads and white rice. Limit the grain after 7: 00 pm. Options for different grain are barley, kala chana, buckwheat and soya. 4.Include at least 1-1.2 gm of protein per kg of your body weight. Good options are chicken, egg whites, sprouts, mushroom and low fat dairy. Since you are exercising, it is important to get the combination of foods right. You may need to upgrade the form of protein. So, the key rule is to balance the crabs, protein and fats in the whole day. And when you exercise, the diet plays 80% role in reducing your weight. The ratio of carbohydrates, protein and fat of the total diet should be: •Carbohydrates -40% •Protein-50% •Fat-10% Keep your vitamin and mineral intake proper by having 3-5 serving of fruit and vegetable per day. Hi thanks for the query. If thyroid functioning is normal you should go for low calorie food and exercise. Try your regime for 15 days and check for weight loss. If you are unable to lose any weight you should meet a dietitian for proper weight management. Thanks.

My daughter was born pre-term 33 weeks and her birth weight was 1.4 kg. Now she is 14 month old and weight is 7.5 kg. She is not putting on weight as required. Her diet includes. 1 chapati with milk or dal. Rice with vegetables. Ragu.cerelac. Oats.Cows milk 1 cup. Please let me know if I can give her some supplement to gain weight.

Hi You can give her similac for 12 month plus baby 3 scoops in 150 ml water once daily in place of regular milk. Also give her khichdi with more dal and made in ghee which will increase her protein and add veggies to it. If you eat eggs start with boiled egg's yolk thrice a week But first introduce egg slowly In normal milk add powder of almond.
