My weight is 95 kg and my height is 5'10. I am in office kind of job but I do have a 5 km walk 5 times a week. No Gym exercise as I have 3 back bone compression fracture which I had before 3 year. I am having very light diet but still not losing weight even I am getting weak as Not having full diet. I want to reduce Atlest 10 kg and bring my weight to 80-85 kg. Hi lybrate-user ,to reduce weight it is very important to follow balance diet if you eat less it's not gonna help you in weight loss. You start feeling week .you need to work more towards your metabolism .take food which help to increase metabolism. If you want you can go with online weight loss programs. You can start with any physically activity like morning walk, running for 30 -45 minutes before morning walk you can take orange juice or 1-2 glass lukewarm water daily. Take one brown bread toast with skimmed milk in your breakfast. Take green leafy vegetables, orange, red meat, pulses,egg white, milk and milk products etc. You can avoid these foods in your diet like. Junk and spicy foods, smoking,alcohol, sugar,potato's, etc. Don^t take stress. Drink a gallon of water in a day. Take seasonal fruits. Drink coffee or green tea during the day. Exercise regularly.

There are many myths surrounding fat and weight loss today. From fad diets to exercises that promise to burn fat in no time at all, the Internet is flooded with material and information that can confuse people. So here is our list of facts and myths regarding fat loss.

Starving: This one is a big myth! Do not starve as this will only make your body store fat from whatever little you may be ingesting. Also, such habits will weaken your bone and muscle strength in the long run.

Snacking: Avoiding snacks for fat loss is a myth. You need to divide your meals into smaller portions for faster fat loss, which means one or two of those meals could actually be snacks. But a snack which comes in the form of a bag of chips is a bad news. So get a salad or almonds for a snack instead.

Carbs: If you have come to believe that all carbs are bad, then you need a reality check. This one is a major myth. The body requires nourishment above all else, and this includes some amount of carbs. While having a cheese burger is a big no, having a potato salad minus the heavy cream dressing is actually a good idea and will give your body plenty of energy. Get the drift?

Calories: While you may have been led to believe that certain kinds of food can burn calories, this is actually a myth. The reality is that there are different kinds of calories and you must choose food that is high in fiber so that the metabolic system gets a boost. Food like oats which come with high dietary fiber can actually help push the food out of your digestive system, faster and more effectively.

Eating Right and Exercising: Many people believe that eating right and exercising are the best ways to banish fat from your life - forever. This is a myth. After a certain age, the metabolism does slow down. Eating right and exercising as a matter of routine helps in avoiding a sudden and massive weight gain. Above all, your diet and exercise should be flexible so that you can accommodate a slowdown without piling on fat.

The fat loss journey is one that is based on a consistent system of eating right and staying within a routine. So avoid myths and get yourself a well nourished, active and well rested body.

Dear concern. I have undergone uterus removal surgery on 5thdec, 16.problem I am facing is that my weight is increasing day by day. My belly is bulging out n my hips also gets broad .i m also having slip disc problem. N that too is creating problem. I feel heaviness in chest, pain in my lower back is getting worse, my both hands can not lift up heavy weight, tingling sensation which is increasing day by day going thru my hip n down in the legs. Pls suggest what to do. Unable to walk properly facing problem while going thru a little. I am doing my daily household work by my own bt facing problem. Pls help.

It's better you are doing your work your self. Try to walk regularly twice a day. Distance should be according to your comfort. Have double tonned milk at least 500 ml per day. You can take calcium supplement also on daily basis for atleast 1 month. Do hot water fermentation and apply ointment twice a day.

You can take high protein breakfast as like skimmed milk and milk products ,egg white ,pulses, green leafy vegetables, broccoli etc. Eat more fiber, orange,kiwi, mushrooms, squash,beans, cabbage etc. Drink a gallon of water a day. Take seasonal fruits. These foods are you can avoid in your daily food habit. Sugar, potatoes,smoking, alcohol,junk and oily foods, rice, etc.

Hye. Thanks for the query. Maintaining body weight is not a one time effort that you try, succeed or fail or drop the actions that take you there. You are what you eat. Your weight is nothing but a balance of how much you eat and how much you burn or exercise. Understanding this art of balance will make it easy to maintain your body weight. Walking, swimming, strength training as well as eating are all calorie burning processes. Along with this if you eat sensibly; then you will see the scales move. There is no short cut to losing weight. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Reduce your main meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called fad, crash diets, medicines, pills or supplements will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, lose that fat not muscle mass.

Hello lybrate-user, when fats are accumulated at belly region, it denotes very little physical activity, and higher level of carbohydrates in diet. please avoid rice as much as possible. Take excessive protein diet,(milk, eggs). Do abdominal exercises on daily basis for 15 mins. And your abdomen will be flat and devoid of fats. Hope this answers your question. Hello Mr. lybrate-user, your weight should be nearby 78 to 83 kg, and you should lose it by 20 to 25 kg. Dear Lybrate user, weight loss can be achieved with Ayurvedic Medication, Panchakarma treatment, Diet Schedule and exercise. Weight reduction is very simple process though it should be followed for 6 to 8 months for good result. Follow this diet for reducing weight. “ Weight loss: Diet ” 1.Morning: half cup of tea/ milk/ coffee. 2.For breakfast: pohe, uppit, paratha, rawa dosa, thalipith, etc. In small quantity. 3.Milk products should be avoided: butter, paneer, cheese, meethai etc. 4.Fermented food should be avoided: idli, dosa, uttappa etc. 5.Tea should not be consumed more than half cup and 2 times day. 6.Lunch: one chapatti of wheat with any of the following vegetable. Normal level are 2.4-6 mg/dl in male and in female and 3. 4-7 mg/dl .High uric acid can cause Gout, arthritis,Kidney stone 1. Avoid protein rich diets like mutton, egg, fish, sea food (sardines)/prawn 2.Avoid pulses, lentill, mushrooms, green leafy vegetablles like broccoli, cauli flower, cabbage, spinach, beans, peas 3. Take fruits like apple, banana, orange, black cherry, lime etc 4. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass) daily 5. Hi Khan Excess fat deposit on tummy area is due to insulin and glucagon hormone imbalance. To lose tummy fat you should avoid starchy and sugary food exm. chapati, rice,bread, potato. U can use high protein diet exm. pannier, egg, chicken. Take lipolyzer tummy tablet after lunch and dinner.
