Hi, use honey and lemon in the morning which boosts your immunity and metabolism. Its better to have small and frequent meals and this type of diet keeps you fit. It generally includes a 6 meal pattern where you will have breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, evening snack, Dinner and bed time snack. Include high fibre foods like whole grains, legumes and pulses, vegetables, fruits and skimmed milk, lean meat, skin out chicken, fish, salads, beverages like green tea, lemon tea, buttermilk. Avoid refined carbohydrates, oily and fried foods, butter, ghee, red meat, junk food, carbonated beverages. Give a gap of 2 hours between dinner and sleep and start walking at least 20-30 minutes a day initially and you can extend it 1-2 km per week depending on your tolerance. Stay hydrated all the time and take stairs instead of lift, in a healthy way you can reduce 2 kg per month.

Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. I am 24 years old female. I suffered from dengue fever last week. It affected my liver function and Dr. Advice me to take pantop DSR capsule and udliv 150 mg two times per day. Now I am recovering and I left these medications. And I brought giloy juice for better liver function. I take it today 3 table spoon mixed with 1 glass of water. Bt I am feeling heaviness on chest and not feeling good. Should I continue with medicine prescribed by Dr. And not take giloy juice? Help me please.

Heaviness in chest may be due to Gas. Usg and liver function test will actually predict the course of treatment plan. If thse are fine then no need to take udiliv. But if gas is there Pan dsr or any herbal alternative like yashtimadhu will work.

I did many treatment for dust allergy and cold. Please do not suggest panchakarma .and aayurveda suggest me something different that will really help me. I took many tablet and also apple juice of Patanjali .I am doing pranayama also. Still no results. Please help me.

कूटू का वैज्ञानिक नाम फैगोपाईरम एस्कुलेंटम है. त्रिभुज की आकृति जैसा दिखने वाला कूटू गेहूं के समान ही होता है. भारत में कूटू की उपज हिमालय क्षेत्रों में ही की जाती है. कूटू का इस्तेमाल व्रतों या त्योहारों में विशेषरूप से सबसे ज्यादा किया जाता है. भारत में ये हिमालय के तराई क्षेत्रों में ही उगाया जाता है. दुनिया के अन्य देशों में चीन, रूस, कजाकिस्तान, यूक्रेन आदि में भी कूटू की उपज होती है. व्रत में इस्तेमाल किए जाने का मुख्य कारण कूटू का ऊर्जा में निहित ऊर्जा का महत्वपूर्ण स्रोत है.

कूटू लस से मुक्त होता है जिसके कारण यह गेहूं और राई का सबसे बेहतर विकल्प माना जा सकता है. जिन लोगों को गेहूं से एलर्जी होती है उनके लिए तो यह एक बेहतर विकल्प होता है. कूटू में पाए जाने वाले खनिज पदार्थों और पोषक तत्वों में मैग्नीशियम फाइबर लोहा और प्रोटीन प्रमुख है. इसके अलावा इसमें 8 तरह के एमिनो एसिड पाया जाता है. आइए कूटू के फायदे और नुकसान के बारे में जानें.

1. हड्डियों के लिए
कूटू का उपयोग हम हड्डियों को स्वस्थ रखने के लिए कर सकते हैं. क्योंकि कूटू में मैग्नीशियम कैल्शियम और फास्फोरस आदि की प्रचुरता होती है. इसके अलावा कूटू हमारे शरीर में ऊतकों के विकास में भी काफी सहायक साबित होता है. इससे ऑस्टियोपोरोसिस और गठिया जैसी बीमारियों को दूर करने में भी काफी मदद मिलती है.
2. शुगर के उपचार में
कूटू में टैनिन नाम का एक एंजाइम पाया जाता है. यह शरीर से स्टार्च के अवशोषण को रोकता है. इसके अलावा इंसुलिन एवं ग्लूकोज के स्तर को भी नियंत्रित करता है. जिससे शुगर के मरीजों के ग्लूकोज के स्तर में निरंतरता बनी रहती है. यानी ग्लूकोज के स्तर का बढ़ना यह घटना रुक जाता है.
3. ह्रदय से संबंधित विकारों में
फाइबर से समृद्ध कूटू हमारे हृदय को स्वस्थ रखने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है. क्योंकि इसमें पाया जाने वाला फाइबर हमारे शरीर से खराब कोलेस्ट्रॉल को दूर करने में सहायक होता है. इससे हमारे हृदय को स्वस्थ बने रहने में मदद मिलती है. कूटू के सेवन से धमनियों को सख्त होने और दिल के दौरे एवं स्ट्रोक जैसी स्थितियों से भी निजात पा सकते हैं.
4. पाचन तंत्र के लिए
कूटू में पाई जाने वाली फाइबर की भरपूर मात्रा हमारे शरीर के पाचन तंत्र को भी दुरुस्त करने का काम करती है. दिन में एक बार कूटू के सेवन से हमें पूरे दिन का लगभग 48 प्रतिशत फाइबर प्राप्त हो जाता है. इससे हमारे पाचन तंत्र को तेजी से काम करने में मदद मिलती है. पेट से संबंधित तमाम बीमारियां जैसे सूजन, कब्ज, पेट में दर्द, गैस, दस्त आदि से छुटकारा मिलता है.
5. कैंसर के उपचार में
कूटू का चोकर एंटीऑक्सीडेंट्स का समृद्ध स्रोत है. इसमें पाए जाने वाले एंटीऑक्सीडेंट्स कैंसर होने की संभावना को काफी हद तक कम करते हैं. क्योंकि एंटीऑक्सीडेंट्स हमारे शरीर में फ्री रेडिकल्स के प्रभाव को खत्म करके कोशिकाओं को पुनर्जीवन देने का काम करते हैं.
6. गेहूं के विकल्प के रूप में

  • ज्यादा पुराने कूटू के आटे का प्रयोग करने से समस्या हो सकती है.

Respected sir, yesterday me and my colleagues were celebrated party on promotion. One of my colleague is prepared eatable things for alcohol and non drinkers while preparing of eating items he cuts his little finger and he was given to me a glass with alcohol. Hi lybrate-user! HIV spreads only through sex or blood transfusion and not through drinking or eating, but still if you have doubt just wait for a week or so and take a blood test. Before that confirm if your friend has HIV or not. Precaution is better than cure. Moreover alcohol itself will kill the virus if the blood drop fell in the alcohol. Take a look at the following yoga asanas that can help you overcome erectile dysfunction:

1. Paschimottanasana

This is also called as seated forward bend. It improves your endurance by strengthening your perennial muscles (they support erectile rigidity). It will beat erectile dysfunction and delay ejaculation by contracting the same muscles just before yourorgasm.


  • Sit straight and keep your legs together and then stretch.
  • Put your feet pointing towards the ceiling.
  • After breathing in, stretch both the arms in upwards direction.
  • Breathe out and bend yourself towards the toes and keep your spine erect.
  • Hold the big toe of your feet along with the index finger and thumb.
  • Now bend forward in a way that your forehand touches the knees.
  • Hold onto this position for approximately 10 to 20 seconds
  • Slowly come back to your sitting position.

2. Kumbhakasana

This asana is also called as plank pose and it helps in improving endurance and stamina in your bedroom. If it is practicedregularly then you may experience difference in stamina and overall upper body strength during sex.


  • Lay flat with your stomach on the floor.
  • Keep hands by the sides of your face
  • Bend your feet in a way that the toes should push off the ground.
  • Push your body with hands and raise the buttocks in the air.
  • The legs should stay parallel with the floor.
  • Stay in this position as much as you can.
  • Slowly get back to your normal position.

3. Uttanapadasana

This yoga posture is also called as raised legs pose. It helps in providing an intense workout. Also, it engages the quads and glutes, which help you to stay longer in the missionary position. It also stretches your psoas (muscles that are located on either side of the lumbar region of the vertebral column) and hip flexor muscles(muscles that permit you to bend the knees) which can enhance energy and blood flow to the pelvic region and beat erectile dysfunction.


  • Lay flat on your back.
  • Keep your hands by the sides.
  • Place the heels together.
  • As you breathe in, lift up your legs to make a 30 degree angle
  • Now slightly lift your head off the ground as you do the above.
  • Stay at this position for a few breaths.
  • Slowly get back your legs on the floor.
  • Inhale and raise your legs so that you make a 60-degree angle this time.
  • Stay at this position for some time like a few seconds.
  • Lower down your legs back to the floor.

4. Naukasana

This is also called as boat pose and it stimulatesthe sexual hormones. If you do not feel sexual energy then this pose shall help in flowing the energy smoothly. This asana strengthens thebuttocks, hips, and thigh muscles. This also strengthens the pelvic muscles which can help you to stay longer in bed.


  • Lie down flat
  • Keep your arms beside your body and feet together.
  • Inhale and exhale
  • Lift your chest off the floor.
  • Lift your feet off the ground at the same time.
  • Keep your arms straight when you are doing this.
  • Hold on for 5 to 10 breaths.
  • Exhale slowly and come back to your normal position.

5. Dhanurasana

This is called as bow pose and considered to be very effective in stimulatingmen's' reproductive organs. This asana helps in beating premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction and achieving stronger orgasm.


  • Lie flat on stomach keeping your feet hip-width apart.
  • Place your arms by your sides.
  • When you exhale, just fold your knees and hold ankles.
  • As you inhale, lift up your chest off the ground.
  • Pull your legs up and back and look straight ahead.
  • Stay at this pose for 15-20 seconds.
  • Gently release your ankles and bring yourself to normal position.

For all the above exercises, use a good yoga mat. In case, if you are uncomfortable in doing ant asana, avoid it and seek consultation.

Everyone Wants Instantaneous Relief

According to Ayurvedic medicine, a natural system of healing that began in India 3,000 years ago and is still heavily utilized in that country, the body is not just flesh and bones, but a complex electrical system. While most people in the U.S. may not be familiar with it, thankfully we have people like Deepak Chopra, who bring us a wealth of information from every corner of the wellness world. Deepak tells us that the human body has over 70,000 circuits. Sounds unbelievable, right? But think about it: when a person's heart stops, the doctors apply electrodes to jumpstart it - that's because the heart is electrical, just like the rest of the body. In my own clinical practice, I have discovered a few circuits that can be activated to prevent disturbances.

Typically, natural healing is a slower process than the pharmaceutical approach of primarily controlling symptoms. While taking medication you may experience quick relief, yet the underlying cause is rarely addressed. Natural healing (including Ayurvedic medicine), focuses on balancing the mind, body and spirit, which can sometimes take longer; however, there are times in natural healing when instant relief does happen. I know because I treat four conditions - kidney stones, painful intercourse, jet lag, and natural flu protection - that regularly fall into that category. Occasionally, it may take two or three sessions to get results.

Kidney Stones

Anyone who has experienced kidney stones will tell you it is one of the most painful things imaginable. Most stones form due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors, including high calcium levels in the urine, obesity, certain foods, some medications, calcium supplements, gout and not drinking enough fluids. Once stones have formed they can be very difficult to get rid of - many people have to have lithotripsies, during which shock waves are used to "blast" the stones to bits, or even more invasive kidney surgery to remove them. I help them avoid all that with a natural energetic adjustment. Again, this may sound like hocus pocus, but I have several patients who after receiving this treatment did not experience kidney stones again, even after twenty years! I'm not treating kidney stones, but preventing it from occurring. It is also possible to prevent gallstones with a similar procedure.

Painful Intercourse

Every once in a while, a female patient confides in me that she experiences painful sex. My first question for her is, "Have you ruled out any medical problems?" The most common reasons that women have discomfort during sex include infections; trauma or tissue injury; anatomic variations; hormonal imbalance; bladder irritation or interstitial cystitis; vulvodynia (chronic pain with an unknown cause); cancer or pelvic mass; and vaginal dryness. However, painful sex can also be rooted in the emotions, such as fear of pain or injury, feelings of guilt or shame, and fear of pregnancy. If the patient's gynecologist has told her that there is no physiological reason for the discomfort, I offer my help. My approach is to release any underlying negative feeling associated with intercourse. There is "no talking it out" - just a pinpoint emotional adjustment. Usually it takes just one session to eliminate any unpleasant sexual memory or feeling.

The Drag of Jet Lag

Many people, after flying cross-country, to or from Europe, or anywhere where they cross time zones experience the unpleasantness known as jet lag. Symptoms include daytime sleepiness, irritability and digestive discomfort, and it can be enough to make someone dread their next vacation. Physicians say it's a disruption of the Circadian rhythm; I say it's a disruption in their electromagnetic energy field, and I do a polarity-based treatment that prevents it, usually in a single session.

Each year everyone from our doctors and families, coworkers and Big Pharma encourages us to get the flu shot. We see commercials for it 'round the clock, and every pharmacy we pass has a large sign offering flu protection. I am suffering from piles and fissure problem from last month. Consulted ayurvedic doctor for that. I am having habit of consuming sugar with tablets and capsule as I chew them. I am gaining weight due to that whereas I am eating low spices food mainly dal with 2 roti & pomegranate/ Apple juice. Can you suggest Me diet which I should follow to reduce weight as doctor suggested me not to go to gym till I get cured.

For weight loss. It is important to take frequent meals at regular interval of time. Empty stomach try to include 2 tsp aleovera juice+ 2 tsp amla juice in equal amount of water. Take 1 cup jasmine tea, it will reduce water retention of your body. Avoid all kinds of fatty food, refienary, packkages product. Take high protein and high fiber diet and minimise your carbohydrate intake. Go for exercise and do deep breathing and don't take stress try to be happy.

Just go for thyroid test first and do revert back with reports You can make your body fit by proper diet and exercise as well. To build your stamina, don’t just rely on physical activity, you also need to watch what you eat. Include a well-balanced diet by adding low-fat products, plenty of fruits and vegetables 1. Just do Warm up for ten to fifteen minutes of easy running. 2. Mix it up. Run for two minutes at high intensity and then jog slowly for two-minutes, thirty-seconds. Run at top speed for 30 seconds and then jog for 45 seconds. Mix up your intervals at random. 3.Cool down for fifteen to twenty-five minutes. 4. All types of outdoor sports are best to overcome fatigue and boost your stamina level; this is because it is a form of aerobic exercise. Sports like football, basketball and all other sprinting games will help strengthen your heart 5. Include cardiovascular exercises like running, swimming, jumping etc. 6. Be hydrated 7. Take proper 7-8 hours of sleep DIET TO INCREASE STAMINA- Peanut butter is also excellent for building stamina. It is high in calories and digests slowly. Consume peanut butter in combination with complex carbs. Lean meat, fish, chicken and eggs (IF YOU ARE NON- VEGETARIAN" Rich in protein, these foods are important for growth and development, muscle building and repair. -Be sure to eat breakfast -Eating fruits can provide you with immediate energy.-Avoid simple, processed sugars.-Incorporate foods that are rich in omega-3 into your diet.-Mineral dense foods can increase stamina - take green tea these above ways will help you boost stamina.
