The medication that we usually take is composed of varied kinds of chemicals; these medicines cure all sorts of ailments, given that with every passing day, a new breakthrough in the field of medicine takes place. While the medication cures most of our ailments, they can also cause side effects.

Principles of Homeopathy-

Homeopathy is based on two major principles. Firstly, the medication is based on the principle that substances inducing certain symptoms in healthy individuals are the ones that can cure the same symptoms in a diseased individual. Another important principle is that, only a little amount of medication is required to trigger the healing process in our body. Hence the major advantage of homeopathy is that it cures the disorders and has no side effects. Homeopathy offers the perfect and natural medications to heal our bodies from various ailments.

However, the disadvantage of this kind of medication is that it is a slow and steady process, and the healing process takes time. However, like any other medication, there are certain precautions that should be taken.

Precautions to be taken while on a homeopathic treatment-

  1. While on homeopathic medication, it is advised to avoid having, tea, coffee, aerated drinks, or using medicated soaps, strong scented hair oils, toothpastes or tooth powders.

  2. Also, having onion, garlic, pickles, radish may render the treatment useless.

  3. One should avoid medicinal herbs, castor oil and other saline purgatives.

  4. Strictly avoid touching the homeopathic medicines; do not take onto your palm before taking it, as handling of medicines reduces the potency of the medicines. It also spoils the medicines by exposing it to unhygienic conditions. Always take the medicines by using the cap of the medicine bottle or a plain paper. If you are going to use a paper then see to it that it does not contain any print. As ink can also spoil the medicine.

  5. It is useful to avoid milk and milk products for the medication to be effective. If these precautions are not taken, individuals might end up having diabetes, kidney problems, and high blood pressure in the long run.

  6. It is advised not to skip meals while on homeopathy medications. Individuals should at least eat fruits like bananas and oranges.

  7. Doctors suggest that when individuals start feeling better after the course of the treatment, the dose should be stopped.

  8. Food should not be eaten in a 30-minute span before and after taking the medicine.

  9. Another important precaution is not to keep the medicines in the open. They should be kept in a cool place and should be concealed.

  10. All sorts of addictions should be avoided.

Though some foods do not expire, but it is advisable not to consume certain foods once they have expired. 

  1. Eggs: Eggs contain large amounts of nutrients per calorie. They are a cheap and tasty source of protein. It is no big surprise that they have turned into a breakfast staple; yet in case that you are eating an egg that is past its expiry date, do reconsider. These are the most widely recognized reasons for food-borne illnesses.
  2. Meat: Bacteria are common in both pre-packaged meats, and in the pieces you take from your butcher at the market. The listeria bacteria are especially hazardous, as the type of harm it causes can be lethal in most of the cases. From a general outlook, it is best to avoid processed meat.
  3. Mixed greens: Mixed greens including spinach, arugula, spring blend, bundled plate of mixed greens lettuce and other veggies do not keep extremely well after their due date. So if their withered appearance and disgusting covering does not turn you off, think about the bacteria and pathogens hiding underneath your sandwich bread.
  4. Hay sprouts: It is important that you use them rapidly once you get them, since they tend to be bacteria magnets. Truth be told, hay pulls in a greater number of germs than other vegetables, particularly in case you abandon them unrefrigerated.

There are many food items which would become stale after a few hours, but there are certain foods which may last forever without the need to can them or freeze or dehydrate. If an individual is new to the field of food storage, these staples can be an excellent way to begin.

  1. White rice: There are numerous researchers who have found that polished or white rice keeps up their nutrient content and flavour for almost 30 years if it can be stored in oxygen-free containers in temperatures that range below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Brown rice, on the other hand, doesn’t last more than six months owing to the availability of natural oils in the bran layer.
  2. Honey: Honey is preferably the only food that would last forever due to the perfect chemistry and the handiwork of the bees. The nectar extracted from the flower gets mixed with the enzymes present in the bees’ bodies which alter the composition of the nectar. The nectar is further broken down into simple sugars and is accumulated in the honeycombs. The processing, as well as sealing of the honey, is primarily responsible for the incredible shelf life.
  3. Salt: Since sodium chloride is a mineral which is taken from the natural components of the earth, its shelf-life should come as a natural consequence. It is used for centuries as a means of preserving other food products as it can extract out all the moisture. But this doesn’t indicate that the table salt would last forever. Experts say that the addition of the iodine to the table salt reduces the shelf life of the salt which means that if the label says that it is an iodized salt, it will not last over five years.
  4. Soy sauce: When left unopened, a container filled with soya sauce would last for a significantly long period. But it is also dependent on the type of soy sauce and the additives used. Even if the soy sauce has been opened, this salty condiment will last for many years if stored in the refrigerator.
  5. Sugar: Quite similar to many items, the storage process of the sugar determines whether the sugar is going to last for long or not. Granulated and powdered sugar must be kept under an airtight condition to steer clear of moisture. Although retailers are needed to provide the manufacturing dates of the sugar, manufacturers say that the sugar remains edible even if it has hardened and become brown.
  6. Pure maple syrup: Pure maple syrup, as well as commercial sugars such as granular sugars and honey, has an irresistible life owing to its shield against any kinds of microbial growth. Unopened maple syrup shall last forever, and in case there is the formation of mould, boiling it to a certain degree and skimming the surface and ultimately pouring it to a clean and air-tight container would eliminate all the problems.
  7. Clarified butter: This kind of butter is boiled unless the total moisture is extracted, which is the reason that it doesn’t go bad. As long as the clarified butter or ghee is stored in sealed container under cool temperature, it would last for about 100 years. You should visit your eye doctor for check ups at least once every two years. Eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy have no early warning symptoms and can only be diagnosed through a comprehensive eye exam. Hello Lybrate User, Many people suffer from dark circles under the eyes, it is embarrassing and make you look older than you are. Causes - Oversleeping and lack of sleep. Can cause dark circles. Stress, eczema, allergies, iron deficiencies are other causes. Excessive smoking or drinking alcohol, coffee and use of cocaine, can cause under eye circles. Excessive exposure to the sun, which causes body produces more melanin. Tips and remedies for Dark circles under eyes - Avoid exposure to sun. Avoid excessive intake of salt, smoking, drinking. Drink plenty of water, and have nutritious diet. Eat food that contain antioxidants, i.e. Parsley, onion, black currant, green tea and blueberries which contribute to make skin healthy. Apply sunscreen lotion of an SPF above 30 under the eyes. Keep slices of cucumber or potato over the eyes for 15 - 20 minutes, will rest the eyes and make them look fresh and alert. Take care.

Hye, thanks for the query. Your weight is a balance of calories. Fad diets may promise you that counting carbs or eating a mountain of fruits will make the fats drop. But when it comes to weight loss, it's sensible eating that counts. Weight loss comes down to burning more calories than you take in. You can do that by reducing extra calories from food and beverages, and increasing calories burned through physical activity. Understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Take smaller main meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. All the so called fad, crash, restricted diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, don't forget the bottom line: The key to successful weight loss is a commitment to making indefinite changes in your diet and exercise habits.

Hve warm water with honey n lemon mrng empty stomach, sprouts n milk in breakfast, hve gud vegetables, daal n chapatti in your lunch n repeat the same at nte. Alongwith diet you nd workot either join a gym or do yoga esp surynamaskar.

Yellow deposits are due to food deposition called plaque and over time plaque becomes a hard substance called calculus. You need to get professional cleaning that is scaling to remove all the plaque and calculus. And after that to maintain oral health, brush your teeth twice a day and also use a mouthwash at night. You can get scaling done every 6 months to prevent any depositions.

Take plenty of green vegetables and salads. Constipation, Sinusitis are the main culprits for the Pre mature graying. Don't use dye and synthetic henna. It may worsen the problem. Get your hair trim and have vigorous massage with Coconut oil and Mustard oil respectively.

10 Common Mistakes That Dieters Make

1. Starving during the day and eating only one meal at night: though this may sound repetitive, it is vital to weight loss and so frequently ignored, that one is forced to remind potential dieters of this.

2. Eating sprouts on a day when you are also eating cooked food: the combination of sprouts and regular cooked food is very fattening. If you are eating sprouts, then do not add anything with it. The best time to eat sprouts is before your workout or early in the morning. But when you eat a bowl of sprouts along with your lunch / dinner, then the sprouts will only form gases and will not be that helpful for weight loss. When having sprouts, do not mix it with any other cooked food.

3. Drinking juices (very fattening) and coconut water (good for kidney, not so good when trying to knock off flab).

4. Eating plenty of ketchup, pickles. Eating too many of the diet foods like diet chocolate, diet fizzy drinks, diet cookies (heavy on fat and loaded with aspartame which in high doses also prevents weight loss).

5. Eating too many carbs: often repeated but true because some people with a carb-sensitive profile do not lose weight despite being on a low calorie diet.

6. Drinking mega-doses of milk and consuming lot of dairy in the form of curd, paneer, cheese: too much of dairy makes the elimination system sluggish, a sensible amount of dairy suits some people but not all blood groups.

7. Drinking tea/coffee more than 8 cups a day: creates toxins within the system which stagnates weight loss.

8. Drinking soup at night does not suit women as it promotes water retention and increases weight.

9. Eating dals at night: too heavy to digest and stays as calories. And here are a few more:

A lot of people consider dals as proteins whereas most dals have only 30% protein so their protein content is 1/3 that of egg and dals have 65-70% carbs (so a lot of dals can add to your carbs too).

10. Doing fad diets like only vegetables and fruits for 7 days will always lead to rebound weight gain.
