Non-Steriodal Anti-Inflammatory medications like Ibuprofen and Naproxen are the most common recommendations to be taken before and after the root canal treatment. However, every patient should consult a dentist as medical conditions for taking these medicines may vary.

The thought of undergoing RCT can cause anxiety and stress. Get a good night sleep before the RCT as it will help to reduce anxiety and will also help in maintaining your overall well being.
