Since 2014-15 i've developed weird pains all over my body (knees, wrist, ankles, center of palms, eye brow area, sometimes fingers etc) I tried many therapies and currently on ayurvedic from last 8 months or so. Dear you can do Joints pain k liyyye………………. Jumping into a workout without first warming up your muscles can increase joint pain, especially after age 40, says . As we age, our joint mobility and tissue flexibility decline; a thorough warm-up helps accommodate these changes. It doesn’t have to be long and it doesn’t have to complicated: Five minutes of light movement, like an easy walk, is all you need to get that blood flowing, warm up your muscles, and get them ready for the task at hand. Use a foam roller. Joint pain can feel worse when your fascia (the elastic, weblike matrix of fibrous connective tissue that supports, binds, or separates your other tissues, joints, and organs), becomes dry and brittle—something that happens as we age. Ideally, your fascia acts a cushion for your joints, and helps to protect them from impact during exercise, an exercise physiologist and creator of The Melt Method. The more hydrated your fascia, the more cushion you get. Creating gentle compression with a soft foam roller helps rehydrate your fascia by stimulating its cells and helping fluid move back into that tissue, While research shows that foam rolling before or after your workout can minimize discomfort, says that even doing it three times a week can reduce joint pain by about half. Get started with these 4 foam rolling exercises. 3. Shake things up. If you want to avoid overuse injuries—not to mention burnout and boredom—you know it’s not a great idea to do the same routine every single day. But mixing up your workouts is even more important if you have achy joints or arthritis, says Kruse. Muscles are involved in the control and function of joints; when they’re weak from overuse, your joint is forced to take on more impact. (So if you’re pushing through a run with overworked quads, for instance, you’re likely to feel it in your knees.) Instead, mix up high-impact activities, like running, with something a little more gentle—think swimming, biking, yoga, or Pilates—once or twice a week. I hope you will fittt and fine thnx dear…

For Leg Pain, please follow the below advise Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation. : Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Mr. Lybrate-user as per your description you must be having urinary tract infection due to stone. First you have to check by doing ultra-sound of your stomach. If it is positive you have to take medicine. Consult after ultra- sound for proper medication. Start taking cucumber, daily.

Do you still have restricted movements in elbow? if yes, get an x-ray done. If ossification is there it can be surgically removed and immediately follow up the activity schedule with an occupational therapist nearby.

Acidity can be controlled by capsules like omeprazole 20 mg daily for 10 - 15 days. No spicy or fried foods. Avoid taking frequent pain killers. For hip pain avoid self medication like strong pain killers which will make acidity worse. Better see orthopedic specialist for proper examination. Investigations, treatment and physiotherapy. See tat your body weight is maintained steady.

My shoulders are having pain daily. I had consulted many doctors. But no use. Is there any solution?

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS
Orthopedist, Delhi
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of shoulder pain, but at your age if there is no history of any injury, it can be due to some inflammation, tendinitis etc. Please let me know if there is any associated swelling, skin redness etc? start with gentle anti inflammatory medication which suits you, ice packs 3-4 times in a day at home, intensive physical therapy for around 2 weeks and let me know in 2 weeks time how you are feeling? I would, if possible, also like to see your doctor's prescription papers and x rays or mri, any investigation which you may have done for the problem. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.
