I am 21 years old, I have too much back pain, I am gym trainer, I hav asked lots of doctors but pain is not yet gone....
Several different factors can be attributed to low back pain. It could be tissue tightness, improper lifting form, too much weight or improper posture. To Relieve your back pain: Get into a good posture–have your head on top of your rib cage and rib cage on top of your pelvis. That usually will relieve some of it. Also, try squeezing your glutes, and stretching your hip flexor and hamstrings. If you have pain shooting into your glutes, shooting into one leg, or you feel numbness or tingling, these tips won’t help much

Having cervical spondlytis but I dint want operation? have you any suggestion for me.

MBBS, MS - Orthopaedics
Orthopedist, Delhi
Cervical spondylitis usually does not need surgery. Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform

Hello doctor for past two weeks I have a sprain in my left neck and shoulders. Is it because of muscle weakness. How ...
Hi lybrate-user, While neck and shoulder pain can occur due to traumatic injuries or bone degeneration, muscle strain represents the main cause. 1. Relieve Stress: Getting rid of the cause of shoulder and neck pain marks the first step toward healing. Home treatment should begin with rest, a break in an exercise routine and an attempt to address the source of upper-body pain. 2. Releive Pain: Home treatment to reduce inflammation eases pain symptoms. For short-term shoulder and neck pain relief, doctors recommends nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as naproxen and ibuprofen, along with acetaminophen. These medications can be used periodically for chronic pain, but may result in long-term side effects. They are over the counter drugs available without prescription. 3. Hot Cold Compression - You can also consider moist heat and cold compresses safe for either short- or long-term conditions of neck and shoulder pain. Heat applications can come from a hot shower, a hot-water bottle or a reusable heated gel pack. Cold packs can be made with ice, a bag of frozen peas or a chilled gel pack. Patients should alternate 20 minutes of heat with 20 minutes of cold, ending with cold therapy to discourage inflammation. 4. Restore Function: Restore Function Immobilizing the neck for long periods of time will make painful muscular conditions worse. Home treatment to restore muscle strength and flexibility should begin as soon as the initial acute neck and shoulder pain and inflammation have passed, usually within 48 hours of onset. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Hello. Improvement depends upon the age of a person, the chronicity and stage of the problem. We can't reverse the established pathology back, but we can control the process in the stage it is so that it wouldn't grow further. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15 min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.

Any suggestions for non surgical treatment options for lower back spinal problem.

BHMS
Homeopath, Chennai
Any suggestions for non surgical treatment options for lower back spinal problem.
The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. We remain seated most of the time and stand for very short periods of time. Unfortunately walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. This is a worldwide trend and is seen across all ages and cultures. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. When it comes to the medicinal treatment, homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also very helpful in the chronic stage of back pain. It must be said here that homeopathy offers a much better alternative for the permanent cure for low back pain. The focus of the homeopath is not just to relieve the immediate pain but to also eliminate the root cause of the pain. That is precisely why the homeopath asks so many questions which may or may not seem related to your immediate problem. A common cause that is easily overlooked is the presence of stress in an individual. Mental stress can also contribute to low back pain and should be taken into account while taking the details of the patient. This is absolutely necessary if you want a lasting cure You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance.
