Hi for increasing body weight, start eating more chapatis and rice with ghee or butter. Take creamed milk upto 400 ml daily. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, take pulses and pulses products. You can eat homemade fried foods but avoid eating from the market. If you eat non-veg then eat 2 to 3 pcs. Of egg or fish thrice a week. Also take 4 to 6 pcs. Of almonds or cashew nuts or some raisins. Must take exercise daily as it helps in better absorption of food and also increases your satiety.

Stress is one of the main reasons for people losing weight. So if you are dealing with a stressful situation at work or home, take up yoga or master breathing techniques to help you de-stress your body. Once you learn to de-stress and relax, you will find it easy to put on weight.

Include food rich in good calories. Salty peanut butter on bread. It gives you approximately 192 calories plus it is extra high in protein. One serving of cheddar cheese packs a good 69 calories. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat, cholesterol and cheese calories. One banana contains approximately 100 calories. For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habbit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apittite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins.

Eat healthy food. Do daily exercise and Yoga. This will help you to increase weight, improve BP. Do Pranayam daily for 10-15 mins. This will improve your respiratory system You have to do these continuously for an year only then you will see positive change. To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Take small meals but eat something solid every 2 hours. 1. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. 2. Take one peanut butter/cheese sandwich daily. 3. Eat 20 almonds & 5 khajoor daily 4. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, chikoo shakes etc. 5. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish. 6. Dals have good protein. Have more dals, rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. 7. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. 8. No need for any extra supplements. Natural diet is best. 9. Take deworming tablets every six months. .Feel confident about yourself and be positive and smile.

Hi, Your body is a gift of nature/God. Treat it like one. Be confident and positive about yourself. Please avoid comparison with others. You are fit and exercising and healthy even at 28. Focus on what you are able to do and feel proud of yourself. There is no problem. Everyone has different shape and size and there is nothing like perfect. Even Bruce Lee is fit and so is Arnold Shwarznegar. So be proud of yourself. You are fit and fine.

I have always been thin throughout my early life till about 20-22 years with an average weight of about 50. Since the past 3 years however I've been gaining weights steadily at a normal pace due to change in lifestyle because of the job. However, since the last 1 year I feel I have been gaining weight at an abnormal rate and I'm currently 59. The problem is not just gaining weight the problem is that my stomach has grown out of proportion and its just become unbearably huge. I don't know what's wrong.

Hi. Indulge in some exercises. Start with brisk walk fr 30 min n gradually increase to 50 min daily. Start having 6 short meals a day and add green tea with an apple in the morning.
