The Good That LEMON+HONEY Early in Morning Does to Your Body

We know this very well how beneficial drinking water just after getting up is  and so many of us practice is too. But when we add honey and lemon in warm water and drink it daily, the benefits gets multiplied. Let's see how it is achieved.

1. Helps in losing weight - Drinking warm water mixed in honey and lemon is very good for health. It helps in losing weight and for this simple reason, people who want to lose weight should take it for sure.

2. No Constipation - This combination of warm water, lemon and honey is so good for health that if taken on an empty stomach it is helpful in keeping constipation at bay. It stimulates the digestive system, infuses water in dried stool which removes constipation completely.

3. Cleanse lymphatic system - Lack of water in the already dehydrated lymphatic system leads to problems like fatigue, disturbed sleep and blood pressure level and hinders mental development. But when you take water in lemon and honey, the lymphatic system gets hydrated and your body functions properly.

4. Keep bad breath at bay and improves oral health - Taste of honey and lemon removes any kind of bad breath in your mouth. Also, these keep your mouth bacteria-free and that's how without direct care, mouth gets benefited indirectly.

5. Boost immune system - Vitamin C helps in fighting cold. As it is high in potassium, it controls blood pressure as well as stimulates brain function.

6. Clears skin - Presence of Vitamin C removes blemishes and wrinkles from skin. Also, it gives a brighter and glowing look. As a result of drinking lemon and honey in water, your skin gets cleared giving your face a cleaner and fairer look.

If my periods are irregular and I'm taking tablets to keep my periods in control, then is it viable for me to use "Saheli - the non hormonal pill" as a birth control measure?

MD - Alternate Medicine, BHMS
Homeopath, Surat
It happens because of hormonal imbalances and the lack of nutrition or exercises with suppress hormones production. You need to take Pituitarinum 6C one dose daily for 5 days and start taking naturamore female powder 1 spoon daily in morning and evening for 1 month. This will definitely give you results. As the Powder is just a supplement containing proteins, vitamins, minerals and all. You will get result 110%. And try to go for walking and yoga in early morning before 8 AM. Just inform me if you are not getting the powder. Take care. :)

My period had stop 3 days ago, last night I had sex with my husband, he got discharged inside me, today morning time had a slice pineapple and papaya. Is there possible of getting pregnant or not.

General Physician, Pune
Dear Lybrate user, You can get pregnant if you cave contact from 11th day to 17th day after first day of periods. For example, if you had periods on first of March, you may get pregnant only when you have contact from 11th March to 17th March. These are the days when ovum egg is released from ovaries and it travels to uterus. Papaya or pinapple itself will not cause any abortion. Papaya is a laxative so it may stimulate uterus movements. So it is generally avoided, but there is no rule for it. So please do not worry Best wishes.

I had unprotected sex with my Gf last night . Before this I did with 1 other girl also. Does it lead to HIV ?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Gurgaon
Unprotected intercourse with an infected individual can definitely result in you also getting infected with the same. Unprotected intercourse is therefore not recommended. Please get yourself tested for STI soon and for HIV after 6 months to be sure.

I had a sex 2 days before. Dr. Please tell me that after how many days I should use pregnancy kit to get the result?

BASM, MD, MS (Counseling & Psychotherapy), MSc - Psychology, Certificate in Clinical psychology of children and Young People, Certificate in Psychological First Aid, Certificate in Positive Psychology
Psychologist, Palakkad
Dear Lybrate user. Home kit can detect pregnancy as early as 15 days from missed period. Doctors often order blood tests to confirm pregnancy as early as 10 days after a missed period. However, some of these tests can detect hCG much earlier. A quantitative hCG test (beta hCG) measures the exact amount of hCG in your blood. It can find even very low levels of hCG.

How to have safe sex without using any protection (Condoms or Pills) and how many days we can have sex before or after period?

Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S)
Sexologist, Chennai
As we all know, the safest sex is with a disease-free partner in a mutually monogamous relationship. For some people, however, this is not a realistic option. The next best thing is to use condoms. Using a condom every time you have intercourse, and using it correctly, drastically reduces your risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease (STD). Making careful choices when it comes to sexual partners is a key element of safe sex. Men who have sex with men, intravenous drug users, and former prisoners and their sex partners -- no matter what their sex -- are all at higher risk. Get to know your potential sex partner before you actually have sex. Talk to your partners about their sexual history, and about yours. Don't assume that younger partners are less risky. Quite the opposite. Two thirds of STDs are diagnosed in people under thirty-five. When it comes to safe sex, remember three rules: 1. Look out for yourself. Always. Don't depend on your partner for protection. No matter who your partner is or what your partner says, make sure you use a condom. No matter how it feels at the moment, don't take needless risks. 2. Talk before you act. Talk honestly and forthrightly with your partner about sexual history and safe sex before you ever get to the bedroom. Trust is an important part of sexual intimacy. 3. Don't believe your partner. As I just said, trust is an important part of sexual intimacy. Honest talks and full disclosure of past behaviors are essential for practicing safe sex. However, that isn't enough. Your partner may tell you in good faith that he or she has no sexually transmitted disease (STD), but he or she may be wrong. Since many STDs are "silent" (not apparent), a person may be unaware of the infection for years but still be capable of transmitting the disease. Also, many people have problems talking about STDs, a potentially embarrassing topic. Surveys show that a large percentage of people say that they would lie if asked about past sexual behavior. A recent study of sexually active human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive patients showed that four of ten had not told their partners about their disease status. Always wear a condom

My wife vagina is itching from few days and when she is pissing. Somethng want to come out from follis. Get me some solution.

M. sc Psychology, BHMS

May be uinary tract infection. Get check up for complete urine test, n then get t/t accordingly, some times, if its purely vaginal infection, then you both need to take t/t simultaneously. So better to see any gynaecologist.

If regular cycle how many days period comes doesn't matter. She becomes pregnant if you do sex in fertile period 10-20 days first you check your semen count in lab.
