To get rid of erectile dysfunction you could try ayurvedic gerivit forte capsule. Take one capsule just one hour before sex. Along with medicines you can also try a home therapy to boost your sexual performance. Soak 4-5 dry dates (khurma khajur) in a cup of lukewarm milk before going to bed daily. On waking up next morning eat those soaked dry dates & discard the milk. Repeat the process daily. This therapy often gives effective result within 15 days.

Hiiii Doctor, my name is Teena. I am 25 years old. From last almost 3 years, I am suffering from some mental tension. Exactly I do not know what the problem is, but below is a list of how I am feeling- * feeling sleepy all the time. I have been sleeping for about 13-15 hrs now a days * feel irritated whenever I see any eatables. My diet has decreased to a great extent * feel like empty minded all the time * no feeling of joy or happiness in whatever I do * heaviness in head all the time. As if someone has put some 2-3 kgs. Of weight over my head * intense pain in neck and shoulders * feel irritated in talking to others. Want to be alone all the time * mind full of negative thoughts * pain in teeth whenever I eat something * continuous and non-stop thinking on any one topic for over days without any outcome to the problem * feel irritated on seeing any of my study books * feeling very hopeless. You are certainly looking at depression but a doctor will confirm for sure. Three years is quite a bit of neglect and it is important you meet someo0pne soon. So, you must go and meet with a counselor immediately and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor you must do so and cooperate to your utmost. Please visit these professionals along with your parents. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

The stress that you feel is not dependent on the stressor: It is entirely dependent on your perception of stress. Change your perception, there is no stress: it’s like looking at a glass half full or half empty. Life is difficult no doubt, as a general rule, but what we do adds to the stress in our response. We add to the stress of life instead of reducing it or learning to deal with it. Many of us follow a policy of avoidance. We cannot do that all of our lives. So the first thing to do is to change your perception. For example, look at it as a challenge that you would like to meet with a positive outlook. See everything as a gift from God to perform as though you are doing it for Him. God never gives us work to do beyond our capacity. Build a good constitution mentally, emotionally and physically to combat stress. Eat healthily, sleep well, and exercise regularly. Talk about your emotions regularly to a good friend every day. Learn stress management techniques, which is all about expressing your feelings in appropriate ways. Do Yoga and meditation. Pray every day to God to give you the strength, and offer your work as a prayer to Him – you will give your best and you will feel so satisfied when you do it well. At work you must learn to delegate much or some of your work to subordinates. If you do not trust, you will find it difficult to delegate. You need to examine if your work is too stressful for various reasons. It is the one place you will be spending the greatest part of your awake life, more than even with your family! This being the case any stress there can take a severe toll: the stress in the work is mostly related to relationships. We are always into relationships and you need to find a very amicable way to interact with people. You cannot avoid people all your life: no man is an island! If it is people related, you will need to examine whether you are the cause or others the cause. If it has to do with workload, then you will need to discuss that with your colleagues first and if they think you are justified, then you will have to take it to the immediate boss. If it is injustice in the work spot, you will need to discuss it with the HR department. If you feel that you are doing more than you can manage or are qualified for, again you can consult the HR department. If you are emotionally distraught, then there may be some work for you to do with a counselor. This is where stress is mostly felt. When you do not express feelings you will land up with stress. Check what feelings you are not dealing with and then tackle that to find relief which is a permanent solution. To resolve it you need to deal with the unexpressed feelings which may have become a habit from childhood. Meet with a counselor and that person will help you process your feelings and find ways to express them once and for all and give you permanent relief. You will see an immediate change for the better.

Emotional Abuse On Children - What All Is Inclusive?

Emotional abuse is a lesser known topic that is very important to talk about. Most individuals are oblivious to the fact that such a term even exists. This article is mainly about educating people about what emotional abuse is, how it affects children, thereby, affecting the upcoming generation altogether.

Like physical abuse, emotional abuse too is very real and harmful enough to cause enormous damage to a child’s mental health. So what exactly is emotional abuse?

Any sort of persistent, emotional neglect or emotional maltreatment can become emotional abuse to children and may cause havoc in their emotional development. The world runs at a very fast pace and parents usually are caught up in earning well for the family, raising the children properly and transforming them into respectable adults. This entire process brings about enormous stress and frustration. As such, unknowingly or knowingly, these parents end up emotionally abusing their children. No, that is not the end of it. It is not only the parents who can cause emotional abuse, but also there are numerous other factors to be considered.

So to make the explanation process easier, here are some points that explain what emotional or psychological abuse includes.

  1. Scaring or humiliating a child deliberately and regularly
  2. Isolating or ignoring a child
  3. Telling a child that he/she is worthless, inadequate or unloved
  4. Not providing the children any opportunity to express him/her by deliberately silencing them or making fun of their expression
  5. Age inappropriate or developmentally inappropriate expectations from children. For example, making a child believe that topping the class is necessary and is a shame otherwise.
  6. Overprotecting the child and hindering their exploration and learning
  7. Preventing them from participating in an absolutely normal social interaction. For example, asking girls not to mix with boys and punishing them for doing so.
  8. A child seeing or hearing utter ill-treatment of another child or person
  9. Serious bullying by other children and cyber bullying
  10. Threatening a child and calling names
  11. Making a child perform any sort of act that might be degrading
  12. Exposing a child to distressing interactions like domestic abuse or drug abuse.
  13. Not expressing positive or congratulatory feelings to the child
  14. Not showing any sort of emotional attachment or interactions with the child
  15. Causing physical abuse to the child.
  16. Trying too hard to control the child’s life and not allowing him/her to recognize their individuality.

Yes, there is no such thing as good parenting or bad parenting. However, parents need to know how much any sort of emotional abuse may affect the future development of their child.

Repeated washing of clothes and hands could be due to ocd. She could be going through some guilt too. Of course, divorce is a painful situationand may make a person feel helpless. She does require emotional support from people around her. Do consult a psychiatrist about her washing engagement. With medication and counselling, she will get alot of relief and help.

People change, feelings change and relationships change. That's the rule of life. If the change is not good and in fact painful, then it's best to part ways while you still can. Learn from your experience about others and your self. You have a long life ahead of you to have good, stable and happy relationships. That said, try your best to work on your problems. But it needs to be done together. If both partners agree to solve their problems then the relationship can be saved. Try doing it in a peaceful and non-dramatic way.

I am 23 years male and I am feeling depression and anxiety I always feel some strange fear in me all the time surrounded by me which makes let me feel terrible, I want to add something year (s) back I wasn't like this no fear at all, all the time full of confidence now its different scenario for me. But the main issue since my childhood was, that when ever I used to talk someone I never used to pay attention and immediately ask the people I talk, what you said repeat, why am I like this? You are probably distracted by a lot of fantasizing that may have many influences. One is that you may be troubled about something that you may not have been aware about. Talk to your parents and see if they know of anything that might have contributed to some stress during your developmental years. The stress has already had an impact in you through the depression and the BP at such an early age. It is also possible that you have a short attention span because you could be very intelligent and the things around you are not stimulating enough to grab your attention adequately. Then the mind tends to wander and pay less attention to what people are saying. It could also be a defense against responding to people where you can justify yourself by not paying attention enough to give proper responses. In all this I have a serious suspicion that you may be very sensitive to rejection: that is, you are so afraid of people not liking you and therefore rejecting you, and that you would want to do everything possible to avoid it but will inadvertently set it up. This may happen because at some point in your life you may have experienced traumatic rejection and that has impressed itself so strongly in you that without your awareness you will be extra-careful to avoid it but yet set it up. If any or all of this is true you must meet with a counselor and sort these matters out. Your parents? help must be solicited to give a lot of input about your past but to also be the support you will need to sort it out. To deal with the rejection you must learn to accept yourself i.e. to love yourself unconditionally. Discuss this with your counselor and you will come through with flying colors. Don?t play any ?blame game? but focus on the fact that a likely problem has been identified and there are solutions to resolve the same.

In my humble opinion, allopathic drugs are the agents of choice for treatment of bipolar disorder. Lithium that you are on is among the best medicines for bipolar disorder provided it is prescribed in the proper dosage and monitored properly. In cases where lithium is ineffective, many other agents are available to treat this condition. Take care!

To really understand your problem in its totality, is to go back home to your family of origin to trace some of the genesis of your problems. You may ignore all my assessments for want of complete evidence, and that is okay. I am not the world’s perfect diagnostic man, nor do I boast of knowing it all. So feel free to take what appeals and dump the rest in the garbage can. In my opinion, I think that your problem lies in the fear of rejection. This rejection is usually founded in your family of origin, and is somewhat manifest in some descriptions you have given already. This is not to find fault in your parents: they may have done a lot of things with good intentions but may have inadvertently set up rejection. Even if he rejection were not true, what you perceive is more important than the reality itself. If you go way back, and see if there was any rejection prenatally or postnatally (again all this with intention or without), the child will pick up the sensation or feel like he is not wanted or even rejected. As you can see, I am presuming all this. You will have to give it substance, if you so have the substance. Without reaching to any conclusions, just indulge in this thought to see if there is any semblance of truth to explore it further. Your parents may throw light on this but don’t share too much of what I saying until it has been verified. Also find out, if there was an abortion or miscarriage before or after you were born. Whether you were wanted by both parents at birth. Whether they expected a female child and were disappointed that you were a boy. How long were you breast-fed by mom etc? These will all throw some light on my proposal of rejection, if there is any truth. Then equipped with this data do meet with a counselor and deal with this issue promptly.

It is just a lapse in concentration caused at your age by adolescence and hormonal imbalances. These normally last for two years and then settle down, on its own. But you could develop bad habits in this time and get into insecurity and depression for the rest of your life. It is therefore very important to learn how to deal with this situation and come out with flying colors. If you are under some stress, there will be difficulty remembering. So if you handled stress better, you will certainly improve. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is rested well to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. So, catch a good 8 hours of sleep every day. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out, if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. You may also meet with a counselor to take care of the stress related emotions, and then you will fare better too.The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine.

Hello lybrate-user stress is somehow good thing in education system, without it we can't progress. Other side stress is depend on how you take matter or how you react matter. In successful life study or knowledge takes only 15%, rest of 85% are how you take matter and attitude so live in lightly without forgetting your target few tips will help you * take good balance diet * take proper sleep * don't worry if 5 marks come less * tragedy of today will be funny thing for tomorrow for you * take chyavanprash 1 tsp in morning * use ghee & milk in diet * you can start some ayurveda medicine, like brahmi, sankhpuspi etc.

Hi lybrate-user, realize its not the end of the world. You have to move on and time will not wait for anyone. Instead of looking at past you have start building your future. Establish yourself, make meaningful relations etc. I know its hard but thats the key- surround yourself with people (positive people) do what you like, learn to prioritize things- what is important for you in the moment? make small achieve bale goals- and try to be successful in it. Take help from a psychologist. Everything will be alright.

Hi, Welcome to lyberate. I understood your problem. You most likely have uti along with vaginal infection. You need oral antibiotic treatment. You can also be prescribed local vaginal pessaries, in case you are sexually active. Drink plenty of water, around 10-12 glasses daily to wash out the infection.
