Dear lybrate user, welcome to lybrate. Anger and aggression are emotions. Anger comes when you become irritated. Irritation happens when you don't like something, or when something is repeated. As anger is an emotion, it should be vent out. You should be able to throw anger out instead of controlling it. But more perfect will be, know the frustrating situations and stop being emotional. If practiced properly, you will not get irritated at those circumstances at all. Those techniques are much easier to understand. I suggest anger management therapy. Take care.

Doctor I have problem of stammering. I speak too fast and the other person can't understand what I am saying. When I try to speak slowly then I pronounce one word two or three times. And some times when I want to speak something my voice doesn't come out. I have this problem since childhood. How can I cure this problem? Please help me.

Stammering can be made lesser only and only by Speech therapy. So you should take the help of a speech therapist. Also, I'd suggest you to visit a Psychologist as confidence plays a great role in dealing with this problem. I'd suggest you to speak very slowly, word by word. It is normal to feel low after losing a close one. But continuing to feel depressed will not help you in any manner. You can keep the person alive in your thoughts and heart always, try and do some charitable act in their name or anything else you feel they liked and would appreciate you doing. This should help you to look forward to life and also give you some motivation.

Dear, you must be able to understand concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Change your study style and attitude accordingly. Take care.

Every body makes his own time table in his life because you know urself more than other, have confindence in urself and have self belief in your self. So sit now, give some time to your mind, think clearly, give more time for practice in which arena you r week but it is important for exam, make your time table and follow for three weeks religiously. Science suggests that marijuana has anti-carcinogenic elements n it's cure to more than 20 life threatening diseases like Alzheimer n depression etc. Why is it still illegal? What actually makes it illegal? Does it cause more harm than a cigarette or alcohol? Please substantiate. Thank you.

There are no proven benefits of marijuana over cancer. It use as a treatment for depression or alzheimer's is questionable just for the reason of risk benefit ratios. It's illegal to use marijuana sine it is a psychoactive substance prone for dependence and association with other drugs and antisocial activities. Also marijuana or cannabis may precipitate psychosis with long term use. Hence it's use for any indication is simply a leap in the dark, unless we have evidence based studies for active ingredients of the substance.

Stress is part of our life. We need to think how we are looking at it. Stress is like string instrument, if string is too tight or even too loose then music is not played well. But is its in proper tension ot plays wonderful music. Same our day to day stressful events. It is important how much we get stressed because of them. If too much stressed then it results into anxiety depression and anger. Then we wait for the situation to get better. But all we needto do is relax ourself first and look at situation carefully, believe in our ability to handle them, remember when similar things happened in past and we did them successfully. It is our belief in our self that keeps us going. Also learning self hypnosis and mindfulness meditations help us keep calm and handle such situations in a better way. Do mindfulness breathing exercises 4times a day. Write your positive achievements everyday to boost your confidence. Engage in hobby. Look out for and cherish happy moments. Remember we are not always stressed. No two moments are same. Warm regards

Please read a book by Dr. Dean Ornish on, Reversiing the Heart Disease to understand how exactly the nicotine acts to lead to blocked vessels. You have to stop smoking immediately. If it is really so difficult you may need to admit yourself to a rehabilitation center and go through a 6 month or less program to get you out of this very unhealthy habit. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a really scary but true. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest.

You seem to have a bipolar personality, the one in which your mood keeps swinging from a happy to sad state, within different periods. Episodes of depression, particularly long lasting are common in such disorders. Lybrate-user, you are just at adolescence stage of your life. Till this period girls and boys have similar voice features. During this period of lyf voice use to get changed. Till the age of 15-16 years of age the voice use to get change. Wait and watch for a year. You may find a change in your voice. Be in continuos supervision with the speech therapist.

Any condition that alters the normal walking pattern places increased stress on the si joints. This could include a leg length discrepancy (one leg longer than the other), or pain in the hip, knee, ankle, or foot. Patients with severe pain in the lower extremity often develop problems with either the lower back (lumbar spine) or si joints. Usually, if the underlying problem is treated, the associated lumbar spine or si joint dysfunction will also improve. There are many disorders that affect the joints of the body that can also cause inflammation in the si joints. These include gout, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. These are all various forms of arthritis that can affect all joints. Ankylosing spondylitis is an inflammatory arthritis that always affects the si joints. It can lead to stiffness and severe pain in the si joints, due to inflammation in the sacroiliac joints (sacroiliitis). As the disease process continues, the si joints can fuse together and have no range of motion. Once this occurs, there is no further pain associated with the si joints. Rarely, bacterial infection can involve the sacroiliac joints you need a check up.

I don't really know if my question is sensible, but I, a many times feel that even though I come up with a lot of planning which matches a suitable height doesn't complete it. Maybe because a part of my brain is satisfied already which makes me feel enough. I do understand that at practical level nothing could be left at paper work or mind mapping. But even after recognizing this I am unable to overcome this problem. I feel I need a psychiatric treatment or say medicines that could help me deal with this problem. Suggestions please.

Hi I will prescribe some harmless but effective flower remedy available in homoeopathy shops. Try to buy original medicines. Mix 3 drops of chestnut bud + 3 drops of scleranthus + 3 drops of clematis. Mix these with 100 ml water and drink it every morning and night.(same dose) on empty stomach.
