1) have regular meals. Divide your meals into 5 to 6 times. 2) one teaspoon of methi seeds soaked overnight in 100 ml of water is very effective in controlling diabetes 3) good fats such as omega-3 and monounsaturated fats (mufa) should be consumed as they are good for the body. 4) diet should be high in fiber. Let whole grain cereals & flour, salad vegetables, green leafy vegetables & fruits be an integral part of your meals.

Actually I'm having PCOD problem,  from long ago I started using homeopathy medicine now my periods r regular. I involved in sex with my hubby and I took ipill. I missed my period date (28th is my date) from last 2 days onwards I'm eating papaya to get the periods but no use. Dear Lybrate user, It is not possible to get period with a drug within 2 days. It may start naturally, in case you have not conceived. I PILL intake might have disturbed the menstrual cycle pattern. The onset of the period may be delayed with medication.

Hi Mr. Lybrate-user, its good that you are doing regular work out approx for 1 hour. Try to do some dietary changes it will help you. - take more green leafy vegetables & fruits. - take small & frequent meal (2 major meal & 3-4 small meal) -do not starv whenever you are hungry. - avoid out side/ fried food -avoid simple carbs & sugar - take a green tea daily. - take sufficient water (8-10 glasses) otherwise you can take calorie reducing chart with a private consultation.

I have been through depression since last year after my father passed away. I get angry to such an extent that I could harm someone but somehow I am able to control it and I lost my confidence and I am not able to concentrate on things.I want to go to a psychiatrist but I am not able to due to some social causes. You may not need a psychiatrist as yet. However, you describe your plight very well. You have what is called an anger-related depression. This is how it works: if you are angry about something and you feel that it cannot or you cannot resolve it, then you will turn the feeling inwards. Anger is pure energy, it wants to and seeks to vent itself outwards. Unexpressed feelings will then turn inwards and stifle your natural energy to make you feel depleted and lead you into depression. Now it is not possible to suppress this held up feeling for long and one day (which has not yet arrived but you are clearly struggling to contain its expression) it will come in the form of an outburst and you will be completely out of control. This can have serious repercussions and sometimes cause irreparable damage. You will be so embarrassed that you will sink into further depression which will lead to chronic states with more severe outcomes that I don?t wish to name. You must talk to someone about your anger (probably related to your father?s death) ? a counselor is quite adequate. About doing it yourself, if you commit yourself then exercise is the best holistic medicine. Good vigorous workout and aerobic in nature for at least 30 minutes with make the brain produce natural antidepressants called tryptophan. If you did it continuously for 21 days, you will develop a new habit and when you keep at it for 7 more weeks it will be somewhat firmly entrenched. You still need to talk to someone.

Hi, practice yoga and meditation. Although you could technically consider yoga your daily exercise, practicing the deep stretches and slow body movements will help you to clear your mind. Meditating - clearing your mind - while practicing gentle yoga will give double the relaxation effect to ease your stress. Use guided imagery to imagine a place that makes you feel at peace. Imagine somewhere that you feel happy; focus on the details to fully remove your mind from the present. Do yoga alone or in a group setting to help you learn new poses. As you advance in your yoga, you will be able to form complex stretches that force you to focus and take your mind off your stress. Practice deep relaxation by doing progressive muscle relaxation. This is when you work through your body by tensing your muscles, holding the tension for ten seconds, and then releasing it. This will soften and relieve all the muscles in your body. Exercise more. To help lower your blood pressure, you should incorporate more exercise into your daily routine. You can try both aerobic exercises such as walking, jogging, or swimming and resistance or strength training. The american heart association recommends that for overall cardiovascular health, adults get at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity at least 5 days per week for a total of 150 minutes. You can also get at least 25 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity at least 3 days per week for a total of 75 minutes and moderate- to high-intensity muscle-strengthening activity at least 2 days per week. If you feel that this is more than you can manage, the aha insist that you do as much as you can to start. Any activity is better than no activity. Do your best to get as much exercise as you can. Even if it is going for a short walk, that is better than sitting on the couch. This can have the added benefit of helping you lose weight. Both a healthy diet and exercise should result in weight loss, which can lead to significant falls in blood pressure. Cut down on alcohol: heavy drinkers who want to limit their alcohol intake should slowly lower intake over the course of several weeks. Heavy drinkers who suddenly cut back alcohol intake put themselves at risk to develop severe high blood pressure quit smoking and limit caffeine consumption. Use herbal remedies. Although not scientifically verified, there are several herbal remedies which are thought to help hypertension. As a rule, however, don't substitute these unverified herbal remedies for proven scientific advice. Instead, supplement your diet with them if they are approved by your healthcare provider. Try holly leaf extract, which is used as a tea in china and is supposed to help blood vessels enhance circulation and blood flow to the heart. You can also try hawthorn berry extract, which is supposed to improve the supply of blood to the heart and help to support the metabolism of the heart. Taking garlic extract is supposed to help prevent heart disease. High blood pressure and cholesterol are also rumored to be somewhat controlled by garlic. Hibiscus, which you can get as a supplement or drink in tea, can act like a diuretic and may have actions that mimic medications such as ace inhibitors and hypertension medications. You can also try ginger-cardamom tea, which is used in india to naturally reduce blood pressure. Drinking coconut water, which contains potassium and magnesium, can help with normal muscle function. Taking fish oil, which is a concentration of omega-3 fatty acids, may help with fat metabolism and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke include lots of fruits and seeds in your diet. Kumar, please take homeopathic medicine agaricus muscricus 30 twice a day. Start eating this medicine from month october and drink lots of water, eat healthy nutritious diet. And you can apply lemon juice over it, you can apply turnip paste i. E shalgum paste. You can apls apply egg plus honey plus lemon.

2. Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

Dear lybrate user, it could be due to various reasons- allergy/ viral infection/ bacterial infection, etc. In case there is no fever, you could take syrup alex cough formula (2 tsp 2-3 times a day) and start doing salt in warm water gargles in the morning and night. The cough should loosen up in 2-3 days.

Hi lybrate-user some tips to lose weight are 1.1. Eat small and frequent 4 -5 meals in a day, instead of 3 heavy meals. 2. Drink 3 -4 lts of water daily. 3. Include high-protein foods like milk and milk products, paneer, dals, soybeans, eggs, chicken/fish (if non-vegetarian). Reduce excess carbohydrate intake like rice, banana, chips, burgers, pizzas, etc 4. Minimize sugar intake in the form of sweets, cakes, pastries, chocolates, etc 5. Use less of oil to cook your food as well as stop eating fried stuff like puris, chips, samosas, etc. 6. Include 30 minutes brisk walks 5-6 times a week.

Or all those who want to put on weight are suggested to keep distance from junk foods which are not healthy for the body, since they are surely going add weight to the body but at the same time they also are said to add bad fat to the body. Go only with the foods which are said to increase nutrient intake for the body and provide with sufficient energy, some of these foods have been listed below for simplicity: salmon tuna paneer soya beans soya paneer-tofu eggs shrimps granola bars cheese paneer yoghurt walnuts dates apricots anjeer raisins nuts and oil seeds peanut butter chicken breast gaining weight is not an excuse to get fat and schedule daily visits to all-you-can buffets. I suggest you begin implementing one principle each week and watch your body stack on more muscle to your frame each week.

My sister is 36 years old and suffering from Psychotic depression since 1.5 years and also suffering from Thyroid also. Doctor has prescribed an injection of CLOPIXOL DEPOT 200MG (INTRA-MUSCULAR DEEP) EVERY 15 DAYS. Is it right to give this injection to her. Hi, follow the below:-1. Take Acid phos. 200, 5 drops , morning empty stomach, once in week. 2.wiesbaden 200, 5 drops , daily morning empty stomach. 3.Natrum mur 6x, 4-4 tabs once a day. 4. Apply Arnica hair growth oil (B &T) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. 5.Wash hair with Arnica montana herbal shampoo (SBL) 6.Drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. 7.Take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, at daily night . 8.Add more proteins to your daily diet and eat walnuts for good hair.
