You have to see health in totality and follow healthy life-style. Standing or maintaining the same posture ) for long hours may create many types of back problems ( or joint problems ). Eat healthy food and maintain a good posture. Exercise every day to keep the body fit and maintain ideal weight. Exercise keep the muscles and bones ( the joints ) in a healthy state. Go for preventive health check-up to prevent any life-style disease.

I am 55 years now. I have undergone Angioplasty balloon surgery 5 years ago. I am taking clopilet, carvidelol, atrovastin, enalpril, vitamin and omega caps daily. For the last 4 months I have been getting pain some times severely at joints, wrists, foot and fingers. If I take paracetamol the pain willgoes off. Why the pain occurs? I am doing normal exercise and works as usual.

Your medicine regime is good. You are to do freehand exercise regularly & mild pain killer like paracetamol is quite well enough. Get following blood test to get your proper diagnosis of pain. 1 blood for tc, dc, esr hb%. Aso titre, rheumatoid factors, anti ds dna serum calcium & vit d ; x-ray bony jts & fingers.

A person continously(5 years) taking tonact tg and cardace h5 for cholosterol and blood pressure, if any side effects. His bp and cholesterol level is normal after taking medicine. Kft and lft is ok. Sugar is border line. Please advise. He is taking medicine for bp for the last 17 years.

Do not take drastic steps to reduce the weight. My advise for you would be to go for a routine checkup with a doctor along with some investigations so as to diagnose the exact problem if any. You can revert back after the visit to the doctor and inform about all the reports for further guidance. On your part you can start living a healthy lifestyle which means eating wholesome, natural and a balanced diet. Avoid all bad habits. Avoid junk food and processed food in daily diet. Have 2 or more fruits and vegetables in daily diet as they contain low calories and yet will satiate your hunger with lots of nutrients. Drink 10-12 glasses of water or more if you feel thirsty. Sleep for 7-8 hrs daily. Exercise everyday and add yoga as it can help you maintain a consistent metabolic rate and give you strength and stamina. If needed you can take Homeopathy after adapting a healthy lifestyle. You can contact me after a few months for Homeopathic treatment if required.

Although there is no specific treatment for the same but I will advise you certain steps u should follow. May be these can help, drinking water before, during and after meals. Eating small bites of food. Chewing thoroughly before swallowing. Avoid talking while eating. Eat slowly. Walk, stand and sit upright for at least 30 minutes after eating. You can also take a homoeo medicine along with nux vomica 30 ( dr. Reckweg ) 1 drop in 1 spoon fresh water twice daily. Report me after 2 monthss
