Sir what are symptoms of sinus
Every night I have cold please suggest What medicine should I take.
Hello, sinusitis is an inflammation, or swelling, of the tissue lining the sinuses. Normally, sinuses are filled with air, but when sinuses become blocked and filled with fluid, germs (bacteria, viruses, and fungi) can grow and cause an infection. Conditions that can cause sinus blockage include the common cold, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps or a deviated septum. Chronic sinusitis is a condition characterized by sinus inflammation symptoms lasting 8 weeks or longer. You should take ars. Alb 30 ch, 2 drops daily at night. Alpha wd, 20 drops with water once daily. Revert me after 7 days. Thanks.

Homoeopathic Treatment For Nose Bleeding

BHMS
Homeopath, Ahmedabad
Homoeopathic Treatment For Nose Bleeding

Bleeding from the nose in medical terminology is called 'Epistaxis'. It may be an indicator of weakened mucosa or septum or an inner disease. Bleeding from nose can occur suddenly, threatening life and making everyone anxious and restless. The nose comprises of many tiny vessels that bleed easily. Air movement through the nose can dry up and irritate the membranes lining the inside of the nose thus leading to formation of crusts. These crusts bleed when irritated by rubbing or blowing the nose. The lining of the nose is more likely to become dry and irritated from low humidity, allergies, cold, or sinusitis. Hence nosebleeds occur more frequently in the winter when viruses are common and heated indoor air dries out the nostrils.

The homoeopathic treatment not only treats for nose bleeding, it also tries to address the underlying the cause for the nosebleed condition. Since Homeopathy treatment is patient-oriented, in contrast to disease oriented allopathy, it gives importance to every feeling of the patient and aggravating factors. It reduces or stops bleeding by strengthening the nasal mucous membranes, blood vessel walls and by reducing congestion. By raising the immunity power, it prevents allergic reaction in the nose. Homeopathic treatment can give permanent relief to nose bleed without any side-effects.

As homeopathy works by restoring the vital balance in the body, it is an ideal therapy for the treatment of nosebleeds. One can choose one of the remedies listed below in the 6c or 30c strength, depending on the cause and symptoms.

When nosebleeds occur as a result of injury or after washing the face, with the nosebleed preceded by burning sensation, Arnica is excellent. Arnica is useful when there is copious bleeding after every over-exertion and during whooping cough. If there is a nosebleed after a fit of anger with a passive haemorrhage, accompanied by vomiting and nausea, Arsen alb has been found to be very effective.
Belladonna is recommended for nosebleeds in little children which occurs during fever at night. Belladonna is also effective when the nose bleeds in bed or on waking in the morning. Elderly people who sneeze a lot leading to nose bleed can take Carbo veg. They feel very fatigued and want cold air on them or want to be fanned.

Children suffering from worms should be given Cina. Such children have a constant desire to rub or pick into the nose, which damages the nasal mucosa. Ferrum phos is recommended if the person is pale, flushed, feels weak and feverish. When there is frequent nosebleeds due to a friable capillary in the nostril accompanied with engorged veins in the legs, then Hamamelis (witch hazel) gives relief.
Kali bich is a useful remedy for nosebleeds after a cold, preceded by pressure and tightness at the root of the nose. Phosphorus is helpful when profuse, bright red blood flows freely and will not clot, whereas Pulsatilla is for constitutional people with nasal polyps that cause nosebleeds.

These medicines should be taken only after the diagnosis cum advice of a qualified Homeopath.

Hi, Homeopathy medicines are effective in treating the recurrent attacks of acute tonsillitis as well as chronic tonsillitis. In a significant number of children, homeopathic treatment can help prevent recurrence of frequent tonsillitis, thus helping children avoid tonsillectomy (surgical removal of tonsils) Medication: Take homoeopathic Bakson’s Tonsil-Aid tablet/ 1 tablet thrice a day daily for a month. Report back. Management: -Do warm salt water gargle daily. -Avoid exposure to extremely cold air. -Avoid taking any cold things.

Too frequent shift changes can have effect on normal sleep architecture and hence are not recommended too often, plus the place of sleep should be as far as possible cool, comfortable, noise free and dark for a good sleep. If you have concern of loud noise damaging the ears at work place you may choose to use ear plugs that prevent noise while working.

Nose surgery can be done by silicon and which type and result of nose should be expected? and recovery?

MCh - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Hyderabad
Nose job may or may not need augmentation. For augmentation, your own bone or cartilage can be used. Another alternative is artificial material and silicone is one of those artificial material commonly used in nose jobs. Consult a plastic surgeon in person to clear your doubts.

I have read somewhere that milk whose effect is acidic, to neutralise it body draws minerals specially calcium from bones which results in weak bones how far this is true? Also milk has tendency to form mucus resulting into strep throat. Is it true?

Milk does not draw calcium from body as it already has calcium in it and thats how the bones are formed of a new born baby who is entirely dependent on milk and other thing that it produces then yes it produces but this mucus is protective and protects us from getting mouth infections as milk is basically protein and gives us immunity to fight against the diseases.

Dear Lybrate taser, Most throat infections are caused by a virus, so antibiotics won’t help. Antibiotics don’t kill viruses. Even when a throat infection is caused by bacteria, antibiotics are only recommended for people who are more likely to get complications of a throat infection or develop tonsillitis. There are some simple but effective ways you can relieve your symptoms at home, as well as taking over-the-counter medicines for pain and fever. You can help soothe a sore throat by: gargling with warm salty water sucking on an ice cube or a throat lozenge drinking hot water with honey and lemon — a simple and effective home remedy. For fever, you may take paracectamol twice daily.

Ear surgery is a very rare cause of iatrogenic facial nerve palsy. If it is due to injury to facial nerve and in your case the history is of 8 years, there is a option of facial reanimation surgery for improving facial symmetry and gold implant in eye for getting complete eye closure, there are few others options also, it is advised to consult a ent surgeon with specialization in these procedures for evaluation and management.
