Dry Powder Massage!

Udvartanam (Dry Powder massage)
In order to prepare the body to receive external snehana (abhyanga) properly. udvartanam (Dry massage) is often administered.
For pitta and kapha prakruti individuals it is normally done for 3 days prior to abhyanga treatment. For very lean vata types, it is done for one day only, or not at all.
A dry powder is massaged into the body in a brisk manner. The massage strokes are from bottom to top (feet to head) instead of top to bottom, as in abhyanga. The duration is from twenty minutes to one and a half hour.  Afterward, the body is wiped with a clean cloth to remove excess powder. After one hour a warm water bath is advised.

Udvartanam can also be done independently of Panchakarma and Abhyanga. It is indicated in a variety of disorders including skin diseases, obesitydiabetic neuropathy. wasting conditions, myopathies, etc.
The herbal powders can be mixed with water, milk, oil or ghee depending on the condition being treated in our Vishwavallabh panchakarma center Nashik.
Also, the duration of treatment can be longer or shorter than what is indicated for purvakurma. In obesity, for example. it can be done for 7, 14 or 21 days.

Preparatory Therapies For Best Panchakarma Therapy!

Preparatory Therapies For Best Panchakarma Therapy:-

The presence of low Agni and high ama in the kosha (G.I.tract) can diminish the effectiveness of Panchakarma. For instance, before virechan karma, Agni must be kindled and ama should be burnt for it to be effective. Otherwise, the medicine will not be properly digested.
This can be done through fasting and the use of carminative herbs.

Vamana (in selected conditions), however, does not require this process. It can be administered even when there is high ama in the kosha.
Before Panchakarma is performed it is important to prepare the body through the preparatory techniques of Snehana (internal and external oleation) and Svedana (Sweating). These procedures are known as Purvakarma.
They prepare the body for best Panchakarma therapy.

Oil (Sneha)
It lubricates the channels of the body (srotas) and sweating therapy (svedana) dilates them. This loosens mala and ama from the cells and tissues so that these toxins can travel back to the G.I.tract (kostha) and be expelled by Vamana or Virechana.

Nasya is independent karma for the head and neck.

Snehana and Svedana are only done locally to the face and neck, and just prior to the treatment.

Sneha Basti is done before and after cleansing enema (Niruha Basti).

AYURVEDIC TREATMENT FOR ALL TYPE SKIN PROBLEM

SKIN ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA....

Types of Pittadosha and skin

1) Bhrajaka 2) Ranjaka 3) Aalochaka 4) Pachaka 5) Sadhaka are the five types of pitta dosha.

1)Bhrajakapitta : Resides in the skin texture of the skin. Protection from cold, wind, dust or other such things and strength of the skin, suppleness of the skin, protection against harmful things is also maintained by this type. Digestion of the substances entered through and into the skin is also done by this very Pitta.
2)Ranjakapitta : This is not directly related to the skin. This is the creater of Raktadhatu and Raktadhatu is responsible for colour of the skin and immunityof the skin.
3)Aalochakapitta : This type is mainly related to eyes. But colour of the eye is luminated by skin of mucous membrane, at the same time sense organ 'skin' is covering the eyeball. (we can think further, if required)
4)Pachakapitta : This is connected with all the other types of pitta as the main resource of nourishment to them. This is also very much related to Agni (digestive power) and Aaharpachanakriya (digestion in the digestive canal). In our Vishwavallabh ayurvedic skin clinic all type ayurvedic panchakarma treatment available for all skin

Best Panchakarma All Five Treatment!

PANCHAKARMA

There are three main modes of treatment in Ayurveda
They are
1. Cleansing of metabolic wastes (sodhana)
2. Pacification of excess dosas (shamana) and
3. Rejuvenation of the seven bodily tissues (Brmhana)

Panchakarma concerns itself with sodhana. Metabolic wastes include the excessive oily quality of pitta and kapha.

  • This is known as ama or mala.
  • This ama is said to be the cause of all metabolic diseases.
  • Pancha means five and karma means actions.
  • The five karmas, or therapeutic actions, are defined in a slightly different way by different Ayurvedic authors. Susruta (500 B.C) was a master surgeon. He placed a strong emphasis on blood (rakta) and its role in health and disease.

His five categories include-

1) Vamana (Therapeutic Vomiting)
2) Virechana (Therapeutic Purgation)
3) Basti (both oily and non oily enemas)
4) Nasya (nasal medication) and
5) Rakta rnoksana (blood letting)
