Healthy and glossy hair depends on a healthy and wholesome diet. Hair is made up of protein so a protein rich diet helps grow hair strong and healthy. Minerals are also important for lustrous hair. A recommended protein diet includes wheatgerm, pulses, legumes, and most importantly, soybean. Soybean is not only an excellent source of protein but it also acts as a DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) inhibitor reducing DHT levels in the body. First of all you need to work on losing weight. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Exercise as per what is advised for your condition. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss. Include, apart from supplements, nuts, dry fruits and dairy in your diet.

I'm 23 years old. I have a very scaly skin, especially on my legs. I have always tried keeping it oily by using olive oil but that doesn't work for long. Also, after waxing my legs, a lot of black spots remain (where the hair was, most probably the undergrowth of hair). What can I do for treating these both problems.

That is the only way out, to hydrate your skin with thick moisturiser or oil. You can avoid using soap on the dry area as it further dries it, use a shea butter body wash instead which will keep your skin from drying too much (you do not need to apply body wash or soap on legs everyday, as you can rinse them with plain warm water.) use body butter or any thick moisturiser time to time. For in/growth, you need to avoid removing hair for a while. Too much waxing/shaving /hair removal causes ingrowth. Laser hair removal can be considered if in-growth is a major problem.

Do brisk walk for 40 minutes daily. Avoid taking tea & coffee. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses like dalia. Moreover do take amaranth grain as a breakfast cereal as its really beneficial in reducing belly fat.

Acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, Don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction(rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage.For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, Avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin E on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin E to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study , applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing. In the study, vitamin E either had no effect or made matters worse for 90% of the patients, and 33% who put vitamin E on the skin developed a contact dermatitis. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk. I being a both a registered dietitian (RD) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications . Hi… A) apply paste of milk and fine powder of turmeric on face, two times in a day B) take 30 ml of RUBYCLIN liquid before meals C) take 1 tsf of haridra khand after meals D) take 1 tablet of gandharwa-haritaki vati at night prior to sleep Do all these things for 15 days. Follow these best tips to lightens and remove the dark spots- 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the spots. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will remove the spots definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 5. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly. 6. Avoid use of any cosmetic products. 7. Avoid continous long hours exposure of sunlight.

Hi. 1st improve your digestive system by digesting your indigested food in the body. So walk regularly for good metabolism. Take high protein diet. Take warm milk with honey before sleeping. Take aayurvedic chitrakadi bati tablet after meal. Take sleep after meal. Maximum intake of fruit juices and mixed dry nuts.

You may be suffering through migraine. Get a check up done from doctor. Deep breathing exercises can relax the body, thereby releasing any tension that might be contributing to your migraine. Lie on your back with a pillow below your head and a second pillow below your knees. Your legs should be somewhat bent. Place your dominant hand on your upper chest and your other hand below your rib cage. Breathe in slowly through your nose until your stomach pushes against your non-dominant hand. Breathe out slowly through pursed lips as you tighten your stomach. Keep your dominant hand still throughout the entire process. Do this routine for about five minutes. There are often certain foods that can trigger migraines in people; what the triggers are will vary from individual to individual. You can determine any dietary triggers you may have by recording what you ate prior to the onset of a migraine headache, and looking to see if there are any patterns over time. Common dietary triggers of migraine headache include: foods containing aspartame or msg alcohol, chocolate, cheese, salami, caffeine.

If the white spots are for a long time and are very visible, it could be a sign of called leucoderma, also known as vitiligo. Some effective remedies at home can reduce or vanish the white patches. Mix harad powder in garlic juice and apply it on the white spots. Drink butter milk, thought to be very useful for treating vitiligo. Make black gram paste and apply it on the affected area for four months. This will be very fruitful in the fight against leucoderma.

You should follow diet plan to become slim: * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables.

Drinking such type of shakes & smoothies do not cause fair skin. Follow these important tips to get fair colour of skin * avoid to go in strong sunlight and if you have to go in sunlight then cover your face & exposed parts of body before going in sunlight. * Use sunscreen having SPF 15 on face especially in summer and spring season. * Take vitamin -E rich foods like dry fruits, egg and fish as you like. You can take cord liver oil capsule daily. * Take more anti oxidant foods like fruits (Apple, grapes, melon) and citrus fruits. * Make paste of Papaya and apply this paste on face & exposed body parts and leave it for 15 minutes. It brightens the skin and lower melanin content. For fair skin: • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water Once a week. • Drink 2-3 liters of water everyday to get hydrated & glowing skin. • Mash half banana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water.

I am 35 male . since last two years I have been suffering from light headache along with beating temples. My physician is giving me olmat-20 and turbogold. However I am not getting complete relief from my problem. My bp ranges between 80-120 and 90-130. And heartbeat ranges between 80 and 90. Please suggest me what should I do to cure my problem. Bring down your weight to 65 kg. Take low salt diet and avoid salty food, fast foods. Avid oily food and fried substances. Do brisk walking for 5 km daily and do some freehand exercise for 20 mins at the end. Sleep for 8 hours daily at night. Do meditation for 15 - 20 minutes before going to bed. I hope you shall see your olmesartran requirement will come down. Healthy lifestyle is most important for every one.
