How to lose fat from hips and thighs Dietary changes – •Check the oil that you are using. Vegetable-based and olive oils are good for you. Cut down on ghee, butter, cheese, paneer and margarine. •Limit your carb intake. Restrict yourself while eating potatoes, white rice, sago, pasta and other products made of refined flours. •Use only skimmed milk and skimmed milk curd. •Give up on all the fried foods until you get that shape. Nothing will come easily. Avoid fries, pakodas, samosa, fried momos, chips, and other fried snacks. •Increase your fibre intake. Eat whole cereals, oats, broken wheat / daliya, brown rice, brown breads, fruits with skin and a lot of green veggies. If possible mix bran into your flour. •If you are a non-vegetarian and enjoy fish, you will love this diet. Eat fish upto 4 times a week. Bake it, grill it but don’t fry it. You can have other lean meats up to 2 times in a week. And egg whites for breakfast are a good idea. •2 tsp of Triphala churn, along with ginger water is excellent way to help you liver to break down fats speedily and effectively. •Cut the intake of wheat. Extra carbs always end of on hips and thighs. Include other cereals like jowar, bajra, and mix these flours with horse gram flour and soya flour. •Go very light with your dinners. A plate full of salad made out of veggies, sprouts, fruits along with soups will help. Fill in with a very small portion of brown rice or daliya. In short have a fiber and protein rich dinner and go low on carbs. Eat dinner around 7.30 pm and having a small walk after it will only add up to your goal. •Consume as much of water as you can and eat different varieties of melons for better results. How to lose fat from hips and thighs through exercise •Walking is the best exercise for your hips and thighs. Walking up to 4 km per day will make your goal appear closer and closer. •If I ask you, “how to lose fat from hips and thighs”? You would probably answer cross trainer or the cycle at gym. Frankly you are not helping yourself if you are doing these to lose fat from hips and thighs. These exercises will only help you in tightening your muscles and then bulking them up. •If you have been walking already, but don’t see much result, then you might need to increase the distance by a km and the intensity of walks from the 30thminute onwards. Also check your diet to ensure you are following the tips above. •Lunges and squats will help you too. Remember to check your posture while you do these exercises. Wrong posture can cause pain. •Running and jogging, hiking and trekking will help you too. Now that you know how to lose fat from hips and thighs all you need to do is tailor the above given tips to suit your plan. You could slowly increase your exercise and go easy with the diets. Hai lybrate-user, usually women after menopause are developing these dark spots, why its happening is not clear yet. Please try to reduce your weight if you're over weight by controlling your diet. Please try applying kumkumadhi oil or ointment to the marks.

Change food habites avoid too oily, ghee, fried, foods. Take simple veg food with green vegitabales, salad, do arobic excersices, yoga. Wash face with neem face wash dry than apply rudraderm cream morning end night.

For headache take tablet paracetamol 650 mg eight hourly and I will suggest you to buy a steam inhaler machine of crescent company and take a flow of steam (of plain water only) over the forehead through the inhaler and can repeat the process after eight hours as and when required.

Dear lybrate-user, Congratulations for your decision not to smoke. When you are only one cigarette a day, it is easier to stop it fully. Sometimes stopping cigarettes give a mild headache. It will disappear after few weeks, if you don't restart smoking. However the site of your headache indicates, it might be an ENT problem. Consult ENT doctor.

Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.

A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea C. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk.

Hi there is very effective treatment of leucoderma in ayurveda. Take about 25 grams of radish seeds and ground them into a powdery substance. Add 2 tsp vinegar and make a fine paste. Apply this paste on the affected area and wash off when dry.

How to overcome Obesity

I am Dr. Suneet Khanna. I am a MBBS doctor. I am practicing weight loss and nutrition for the last 30 years. I’m the oldest doctor in this line, to practice weight loss, nutrition. Today I will talk about Obesity.

What is Obesity? Fat. If you are fat, what to do? In our program, in my program, I call people, once in 10 days, that is, 3 times in a month. Once you come to me, we check your weight, enquire about your health, your diet pattern, your family history, medical problems; then we put you on a diet plan. It could be roti, sabzi, dal, pasta, kulcha, Subway, chicken, fish, eggs, mutton, brownies, cheesecakes, all that would be given to you. We will tell you to walk 30 minutes. 30 minutes of walk is very important.

Our program is based on the timing of food, the quantity of food, a combination of food and 30 minutes of walk. Initially, first 10 days, we don’t allow you to eat out. First ten days. Attending Parties, functions, has to be deleted. 30 minutes of walk is important. No alcohol for 20 days, 20 days no alcohol. And coming to me on time, is very important. Latecomers are not seen. In my schedule, I plan out diet as per your requirement. You are school teacher, you are a professional, you are in a corporate sector, I plan out diets accordingly. I plan out timings accordingly. All I require from people is honesty to the weight loss programme. I always believe and you also believe that a diet program is a very serious effort. It is not a joke. You can’t take a diet, and go back home. Diet programme is to be followed with zeal, with enthusiasm. Diet programme has to be, you know, on the job.

Hye. Thanks for the query. If you're a beginner at gyming, first you need to increase your upper and lower body strength before you hit the weights. You need to start with basic exercises to do increase your strength a little bit and get your body into shape. A lot of teenagers when they start out bodybuilding or gyming they go in the gym with the intention of jumping into heavy weights and dumbells from the first day itself. They go to the rack and pick up the largest weight they think they can lift. Not only are you going to be struggling to lift the weight but your form is so sloppy and you have not practice that you can hurt yourself more than increasing your muscles. Bodybuilding or gyming is not about lifting heavy, its all about proper technique and physique. A lot of times at the gym as soon as you are starting out, you are just working out the same muscle day in and day out, eg your biseps. You are tearing your muscle instead of letting it grow. You must let your muscles grain strength, practice and rest before you can work that muscle. Your muscles are not growing when you are working out but when you are resting. Another point to remember is proper nutrition. You have to watch what enters your body. You need to not only eat to manage workout but also your growth and development. Poor nutrition can lead to poor or stunted growth. So, if you concentrate on all these factors you can start working out with right technique and good nutrition.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Weight reduction can not be done over night. You have to take it as a way of life. Do diet control. No sugar in tea, coffee, milk etc. No sweets take small frequent feeds. When you get used to it, skip one meal. You should do non weight bearing yoga exercises.

There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days.

Hi, it does work on some people. It will work if you are lucky enough. You need to be patient with creams. Even if it does not work, you can go for laser treatment for good results.
