Hi There is one technique called Urge Surfing to control the urge of smoking. Urges rarely last for very long. In fact, they almost never last for longer than about 30 minutes, if there is no opportunity to use. If there is no opportunity to use then there is no internal struggle. It is this internal struggle that feeds the cravings. Trying to fight cravings is like trying to block a waterfall. We end up being inundated. With the approach of mindfulness, we step aside and watch the water (cravings, impulses & urges) just go right past. Exercise: Reflecting on Urges Ask yourself whether there have been times when you could not give in to an urge when it presented. Did the urge pass? Most of us will have had past experiences of urges passing. This is an important strategy to identify, as it can greatly improve self-efficacy for riding out urges. The main message is that urges do not have to be acted upon. The Technique of Urge Surfing: Often people try to eliminate the urges by distraction or talking themselves out of them. This usually just feeds the urges and creates the illusion that they are interminable until you give in to them. Suppressing a thought feeling or sensation, including pain ultimately increases it. Rather than trying to distract from or argue with the unpleasant thoughts, feelings or urges, mindfulness simply makes the thoughts, feelings or urges less important. If we just let an urge be – non judgmentally – without feeding it or fighting it (Fighting it is just another way of feeding it anyway) then it will crest subside and pass. Of course they come back again but over a period of time. However each time you overcome a bout of cravings they become less intense and less frequent if we don’t feed the urges and if we don’t give in to them. If we have a slip and give into the impulse we will have increased urges for a while. However we can still apply urge surfing all over again. Urge surfing Practice Watch the breath. Don’t alter it. Let the breath breathe itself. Notice your thoughts. Without judging them, feeding them or fighting them gently bring your attention back to the breath Notice the craving experience as it affects the body. Focusing on one area where the urge is being felt and noticing what is occurring. Notice quality, position, boundaries & intensity of the sensation Notice how these change with the in-breath and out-breath Repeating the focusing process with each part of the body involved. Be curious about what occurs and notice changes over time. The key is replacing the fearful wish that craving will go away with interest in our experience. When we do this we notice the cravings change, crest and subside like waves in the ocean. In this way it becomes more manageable. This is not difficult, as there are many kinds of urges like urges to scratch, to move, to eat, to drink, to go to the toilet etc. When we reflect on this as it becomes clear that all adults including those who consider they have difficult to control repetitive problem behaviours, have the capacity to have urges come and go without acting on them. Your blood sugar level itself indicates that you are having diabetes, hb1ac was not required though. You should consult doctor so that your medicines can be regulated. You should also take homoeopathic treatment along with it for better results.

Hello you need to understand the concept of weight loss, it requires cut down in calories (under the guidance of dietician) along with exercises like brisk walking or cycling or yoga and stretching 5 days a week for at-least 25-30 mins. Include foods like green tea, lemon water, jeera water, salad vegetables like onion, tomato, cucumber, kakri, cabbage and fruits like melon, watermelon, plums. Avoid fried foods, carbonated drinks, sweets and processed foods. Drink plenty of water. Take small and regular meals like 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Take chamomile tea before going to bed. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Take low calorie and low sodium and high protein food. Don't take rice at night. Take 1 glass of lukewarm water with 1 tsp of flaxseed powder in the morning and go for walk. Don’t skip breakfast. Thank you.

Some time it genetically, but pathology of hair loss is when heat increas in your blood. Due to to this heat hair root get dry and it fall. So avoid spicy food, stress less night sleep so take following oil 1. Vata-jatadi tail apply it on hair alternate days take following remedies 1 asthi poshak vati 1 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach 3. Laghu malini vasant ras vati 2 tab after lunch and dinner for application 1. Random blood sugar below 140 means you are in perfect health. So no need to worry. You can try to reduce high Carbs from your diet and instead take complex carbohydrates. You can refer to something called Glycemic Index ( G.I. Index) of foods for selecting and managing your diet.

Hi Itching in stool passing area, some time in urine passing area, mostly at sleeping time, also noticed when I take sweet food items and cold drinks it creates more. Same problem is facing my wife also. And we are facing this problem from last 1 year.  Took Medicine Albendazole 400 mg (zentel), 2 tab interval of 3 days,  but still have problem .  Please advise.

Symptoms. Anal itch is an irritating sensation around the anus that is relieved temporarily by scratching or rubbing. The problem is often worse at night and may interfere with sleep. In most cases, the skin in the area is red. Vaginitis, an infection or inflammation of the vagina and vulva, can cause vaginal redness, itching, and more. Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease that can cause vaginal itching and discharge and pain. - in female its common urethritis is inflammation of the urethra. That's the tube that carries urine from the bladder to outside the body. Pain with urination is the main symptom of urethritis. Urethritis is commonly due to infection by bacteria. Symptoms of urethritis- common in male and female burning on urination. Frequent urination with only small amounts of urine passed on each occasion. Anal or oral infections. Urgent need to urinate. Bloody discharge from the penis. Blood in the urine. Yellowish discharge from the urethra. Itching or irritation around the opening of the penis. Note - some other reason is also may cause itching in genitals both male and female. Advice - argentum nitricum- 30, three times a day before meal, arsenic album - 30 three times a day before meal, and clean you genitals with antiseptic - calendula mother tinture - apply on affected part - 2-3 times a day. Our weight should be proportionate to our height. For every given height there is a normal weight range. You must do several things correctly to gain weight. A healthy diet: this is the foundation of gaining weight. If you don't do this right, the other things you do won't be effective and could even be harmful. Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal. · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad. · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

You maybe most probably suffering from gastritis or gastro esophageal reflux disease. You have to avoid spicy and fried foods. Also avoid junk food and fast food. If your problems are worse, you need to take an ecg and take medications.
