Hi, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent neck pains. If you have localized neck pain with no other symptoms like radiating upper limb pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your neck while working and sleeping and maintain principles of neck ergonomics especially during work. - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. We will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of neck region and few blood tests for evaluation. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Ankle stretching. Ankle strengthening exercises. Avoid squatting. Quadriceps exercises. Core strenthening exercises. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

Reasons for constipation are many. The main reasons are irregular eating habits, wrong diet, less of water intake, avoiding fruits and vegetables, excessive smoking etc. Pl try the following. Take one teaspoonful of fenugreek with water in empty stomach in the morning daily. Drink plenty of water, avoid junk foods, maida based items like pizza etc. Go for a brisk walk and do breathing exercises. Constipation is the cause of majority of the illness as toxins accumulate. Press the mid point on the chin below the lower lip 10 times in the morning. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Press the point on the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from toe in the foot 20 times by pressing and releasing with a blunt edge of a pen. Further rotate your foot clockwise and anticlockwise 10 times. Massage your leg with both hands. Consult me after 10 days.

Hello, for this prob you should go with medication and physiotherapy both in initial stage if you are feeling too much pain than pain relief medication will help you while the exercises will make your muscle strong so that there will not be any pain and problem. The time of recovery depends how much is the problem showing in MRI and patient is avoiding the things what he should in this condition but max range goes for 20-25 day but again it doesn't goes with every patient.

Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

Dear it seems you are suffering from stress fractures of tibia (leg bone). This is very common in young males who do race practice. So its better you do race practice under some trainer. That is first warm up ezercise for 10-20 minutes then gradual jogging and then sprint. Build up your race speed in 30-45 days. Dont try to run fast on day one.

Don't carry any weights.*you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take arnica 200--once daily in the morning.
