What is the best time to get sunlight? Some professionals suggest its the morning sun from sunrise to 10 am, some suggests its post 10 am to noon and some suggests between 1 pm to 3 pm. I'm utterly confused please advice.

The best time to get exposed to the sun is between 11 am and 1 pm since the wavelength of ultraviolet B (UVB) rays is 290-320 nm during this period which is essential for skin to make vitamin D.

I am 34 year male and working in a it firm, I have diabetes from last 3 years and taking a regular medicine, can you suggest me what is the best veg. Food I should eat to stay healthy?

Eat small meals at regular intervals. Avoid staying hungry for more than 3 hours. You can eat all vegetables in moderation. Avoid junk foods or proprietary foods and juices. Avoid sugar, jaggery or honey. Exercise regularly.

Hello,  obaesity ,being common ,now a days due to irregular life style.         ⁃       can be reduced, by opting-certain natural-norms in life & taking ,meal, judiciously.         •       Go for a brisk walk in d morning / evening at least 10 000, steps 45 mnts to restore blood circulation to nourish d whole body.    * Tk, 3/4 litres  of water, free from conteminents to eliminate toxins and to regulate metabolism to burn fats cell & prevent constipation.    Go for meditation to reduce your stress and to nourish cell& tissues to curb fats cells, improving haemoglobin level in blood.    * go for either, cycling, jogging, swimming, skipping, gardening, playing badminton, dancing,regularly.     * opt staircase, instead of a lift in your office.    * Tk, oats with green tea  or, 1 slice of whole grain bread with 1 cup of cooked vegetable soup + 1 fruit (pomegranate, pear) in d breakfast.     * Tk, salad, fruits,sprouts in ample qty in lunch, your meal b preferably, vegetarian ,high in proteins and fibre, maintains 1300-1600 calories through dietary  regulation.      * consume salad, fruits (not juice) whenever you feel hungry.         •       Avoid, nicotine,coffee, alcohol,junk food, cookies, burger,pizza ,butter, ghee,sitting on computer late in d night. # Homoeo medicines which r administered gently ,acts rapidly without any adverse effect, thereof. @ Phyto berryQ -10 drops, thrice, with little lukewarm water before each meal         •       Your feedback will highly b appreciated for further follow up, please. Hello lybrate-user, try to take small & frequent meal. Don't starv. Avoid simple sugar and preserve products from your diet. Avoid processed food. Stock up on healthy food & snacks. Drink sufficient water. Daily work out approx for 30-40 minutes. You can also go through a calorie counting diet chart with the help of a dietician. And most important thing don't get disappointed, always be happy.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Follow some tips for exercise & diet: - have a snack about an hour before exercise, can have a fruit like an apple with peanut butter or a banana or a cup of milk with chocolate or a handful of nuts or a wholegrain bread & cheese sandwich, also have one after the exercise - keep yourself well hydrated before, during & after exercise, have 1-2 cups of water 15-20 min before exercise, sip water during exercise & also increase intake after exercise as the environment temperature is high - increase your walking or jogging time & intensity over a week or ten days or as & when you are comfortable with the regimen, do not overstrain as it leads to tiredness & lethargy - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, protein rich foods such as eggs, lean meats especially seafood, milk & milk products, soya products, tofu, legumes, lentils, nuts -include a protein food in each meal & also as a snack in between meals as it is non fattening & provides continuous flow of energy, helps in building muscles - do moderate weightlifting for 10-15 min twice a week along with walking, jogging or swimming which will help in reducing weight & keep you fit & agile - also proper sleep for 7-8 hrs at night is necessary for the body to repair, relax & destress.
