Vegetarian diet is better than nonveg. So do not get depressed. Take mix pulses specially in sprouting form. Milk,curd, paneer. All these along with seasonal fruits are good for you.

Weight gain after delivery is due to neglect in terms of nutrition and exercise to the body. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise whenever possible. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

Hi, by improving your digestive system, you can increase your weight. 1. You must focus on getting the maximum nutrition out of the food that you are eating and digest that. Increase the quantity of fruits and vegetables and low calorie foods. Avoid intake of too much salt as it may be a factor for increasing body weight. Milk products like cheese, butter etc. And non-vegetarian foods should be avoided as they are rich in fat. Mint is very beneficial in losing weight. A chutney of green mint with some simple spices can be taken with meals. Mint tea also helps. Spices like dry ginger, cinnamon, black pepper etc. Are good for loosing weight and can be used in a number of ways. Regular intake of carrot juice. Avoid rice and potato, which contain a lot of carbohydrates. Among cereals wheat is good. Vegetables like bitter gourd (karela), and bitter variety of drumstick are useful in loosing weight. Honey is an excellent home remedy for obesity. It mobilizes the extra deposited fat in the body allowing it to be utilized as energy for normal functions.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Hi Lybrate user, I would suggest you to follow a diet rich in proteins and fiber (like- animal/plant proteins- chicken, eggs, fish, tofu, soy milk, pulses, soybean etc and fiber foods like- salad, fruits, vegetables). Limit the intake of high carbohydrates and sugars like- table sugar, sweets, refined flours products etc. Also try to keep yourself hydrated the whole day and even during exercises. You should exercise or walk for 20 mins per day will help you more fast in reducing weight. Also limit the intake of salt after 7 pm and avoid saturated fats and junk foods will you reduce weight. Hello, Iron and calcium supplements should never ever be taken together,they interfere with each others absorption. As far as vitamin E supplements are concerned,i hope you are taking them under doctors recommendation.As self medication can prove fatal.

You are fit and healthy now. Continue with your exercises and eat healthy. Yoga is good for health. Don't be so much tense about issues like creams etc. Just use normal stuff based on whether its indoors or outdoors based on the time of the day. You can do Yoga any time of the day provided you give sufficient gap after meals. Stopping Yoga will not increase weight. If you are following something good. Then continue doing it.

Hi lybrate-user •Try to eat every two hours a day. Small meals instead of three large ones. Avoid oily food and sweets as much as you possibly can. •Try and set a routine for yourself and follow it! No excuses whatsoever. Remember there is no shortcut to weight loss. •Exercise. Cardiovascular exercises work best with weight training. To bust the myth, lifting weights does not mean you will get bulked up like men! •When you have time for yourself, you could put some music and dance. •Reduce the intake of caffeine, drink green tea instead of coffee. •Then the usual stuff – have lots of water, eat fruits and vegetables everyday. •Include egg whites and lean meat (chicken, fish etc) into your diet. •Ever-changing work schedules make it difficult to maintain / reduce your weight. But following a strict diet always helps.

I am continuously gaining weight despite keeping a healthy diet. Usually avoid fried and junk food. I was 84 kg before pregnancy and now m 95 kg .I delivered in Jan 2016 .Please suggest me to loose weight because according to my height which is 166 cm I should not weigh more than 65 kg.
