Protein powders are expensive & have many additives. Try incorporating natural sources instead. Long term high protein intake can damage kidneys. Your total protein requirement will vary with duration, type & intensity of workout. For healthy weight gain without any side effects you may follow these simple & inexpensive tips. 1. Have frequent meals at 2-3 hrs intervals rich in nutrients & calories. Ex. Paneer paratha, cheese-potato-tofu sandwich, soyabean cutlet, chicken roll, fish fingers (homemade), egg rice, fruit & nut milkshake/lassi, cow/buffalo milk with skim milk powder, fruit juice, sugarcane juice, thick creamy soup, thicker atta-maida rotis with ghee, rice with ghee. 2. Add home made cereal malt/premix to milk with sugar instead of protein powder.

Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals.

Eat a lot of good things Protein = building block for your muscles Carbs will help you put on weight, but it won’t be muscle Keep track of everything you eat Compound exercises are your friend Appearance is a consequence of fitness Let your muscles rest Sleep Make it part of your routine Realize you will put on some fat U need to take a high protein high calorie diet.

jay.if you are sedentary working male than your daily calorie requirements is 2320kcal/day.so you are taking less calorie than your requirement and that is why you are not able top gain weight.calorie requirement also change according to one's BMR(basal metabolic rate).in your case all you need proper guidance of diet.feel free to take my consultation.

16 kgs is good amount of weight, gaining in a year. you can intially check your fat ratio and muscles mass, that what exactly you need to balance. due to excess weight you must be feeling lazy during the day. on a basic note you can start with these things:- Eat a high-protein breakfast. ... Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice. ... Drink water about half hour before meals. ..... Eat soluble fiber. ... Drink coffee or tea only once a day. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. ... Eat your food slowly. drink plenty of water take early dinner In the mean while gett your fat and muscles mass checked and accordingly than you can go further.

Freckles, moles etc are generally found more in persons with pitta skin type and vitiation of pitta humour. Visible more on fair skin.
Proper bile secretion, good appetite, good digestion and good excretion is necessary to clear away the toxins and getting full benefit of antioxidant food and medicines.
Aloe vera, chirayata, pitpapda, manjishtha extracts should be used with khadirarishta and manjishthadi kwath for detoxification and blood purification as well as nourishing the skin. Extracts of these herbs in equal ratio is used in the dose of 1/2 gm to 1 gm bid with water or honey. Aloe vera also provides vit a, c, e and minerals ch, zn, cu, mg. It's anti bacterial and anti viral too.
Foods: try to get organic fresh leafy green food, grapes, melon, plums; variety of grains; cow ghee, extra virgin olive oil (organic).
Avoid: microwaving n boiling food. These destroy 85% anti oxidants. Prefer to steam these. Microwaves break the food chain.
Spices- turmeric, coriander, cumin, black pepper help skin detoxification.
Haridra cap, manjishtha cap, neem cap. Of himalaya pure herbs may be used initially.
Pranayam, yoga, meditation and ayd oil massage (neem, marichyadi tel etc) also help to fight freckles.

Hi lybrate-user with green tea you can also try ds tips for weight loss eat fresh vegetables daily. Avoid having sugar completely. Eat whole wheat bread instead of white bread; avoid everything made from white flour and make whole wheat bread, chapattis and brown rice a way of life. Do not skip a meal and eat three meals a day. Drink plenty of water to eliminate the toxins from the system. Limit your fat intake to 2-3 teaspoons a day. Increase the fiber intake as it provides a sense of fullness and also prevents hunger pangs. Take antioxidants for protecting the body against the toxins released during weight loss. Exercise catalyzes your efforts to lose weight and even regular walking for thirty minutes can give you the benefits of an aerobics exercise. To improve the metabolism, try increasing the duration, frequency, intensity of your daily workout. Remember that maintaining the ideal weight is a lifetime commitment and not a short-term affair. Firmly believe that the pleasure of being trim and healthy is far better than the pleasure of eating unwisely.

Is any problem to health by taking of spirulina (healthvit brand) 1 gram daily. Suggest me because I am using since two weeks there is no problem. I will ask for future purpose. Is it good to take or not. I have no problems now. Suggest me.

You can take spirulina for 3 to 4 months and stop it for a month ansd you can start it again, to avoid dependancy by your body Mr. Prasad.

Hello. I would prescribe you one ayurvedic medicine called" triphla" triphla is considered as a god's gift to us. Triphla is made up of 3 fruits - amla (indian gooseberry), haritaki (harad), bibhitaki (baheda). It's easily available in market (ayurveda stores). Dosage: eat 1 tea spoon with luke warm water every day in morning, empty stomach. Eat for 3 months and you will lose the extra fats. Another remedy is cabbage. It is considered to be an effective home remedy for obesity. Recent research has discovered in this vegetable, a valuable content called, tartroric acid which enables the conversion of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat.
