First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

Hye, thanks for the query. The anabolic steroids abused by many are synthetic versions of testosterone, a male hormone. Both men and women naturally produce testosterone. But like all hormones -- which regulate the body's most basic functions -- throwing one's testosterone out of balance can have wide-ranging consequences. Anabolic steroids have many side effects because testosterone, which they mimic, has many effects in the body. The long list if side effects from anabolic steroids include: shrinking of testicles, breast enlargement (gynecomastia), low sperm count, increased hair growth, deeper voice and reduced breast size in women, high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, high cholesterol, rage, violence and aggression. You can manage good body weight with a healthy diet and exercise routine. Steroids are harmful. Once your activity or exercise intensity improves you can add a whey concentrate to manage the increased protein needs. Till then a diet rich in proteins is enough as a beginner.

Lybrate-user you can follow these:(1) do exercise everyday.(2) don't drink water before meals (3) take dry fruits little extra (4) 3-4 bananas each day.(5) use protein shakes+ almond milk+cashew nuts (6) add cream with your tea/coffee (7) take quality sleep (8) take bigger plates (9) drink milk (10) eat more often.

How to make good habits and daily physical activities to keep you healthy and fit?

Go for natural, organic foods if you can. Drink plenty of water also, drinking water with lemon is cleansing and healthy for you. Avoid things like soda, diet soda or any drinks, artificial colors and sweeteners, white flour, overly processed foods, fast food, etc your morning breakfast starting should be from oatsmeal. Its best for healthy fit. One or two fruit should be consume daily. Pulses curd paneer etc high protein diet are very good for being fit. You shuld take proper 7 to 8hr sleep in night. Consume high fibre diet. Your diet shuld be rich in fruits and vegetables. Avoid junk foods. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week.

It is not a good idea of Increasing intake of junk foods and fatty foods to gain weight. You should be eating calorie dense yet nutritious food. Your calorie intake should come from foods that are healthy for you. The weight gaining diet should include high protein foods, high carbohydrate foods and healthy fats. Include these in your diet. Breakfast: Banana and milk or banana shake or smoothie, whole-grain toast, fruits, nuts. Eat more fruit and drink less juice. Do not take milk mixed with ghee . It is not healthy. Lunch: Roti or chapatti or wholegrain bread, rice, green vegetables, paneer, dal, chole recipe, black-eyed beans (lobia), rajma, whole wheat pudding (dalia), etc Dinner: Similar to lunch In-between meals:: fruit, sandwich, yogurt (curd), milk, cheese, salad Avoid deep fried snacks like samosa (samosa recipe), pakodas, bhujia etc. Avoid fast foods

First we hav to work on ur digestive system...Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day...Follow up after 1week...drink plenty of fluids..avoid constipation. Tell ur height

Dear lybrate user, increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is whey protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

Hi Doctor, I am a 23 year old guy. My height is 165 cm and weight is 56 kg. I want to gain weight and build muscles too. Even though, I did some exercise and taking healthy foods, it makes my muscles to be tight but it doesn't show up any sign of enlarging or building up. Hi, lybrate-user as per your height you need 5 kgs to increase and the best thing is not increase fat in the body instead you need build up body muscle and make them strong do that follow below things, 1) weight lifting 2) swimming 3) eat well all vegetables, dry fruits, sweets like payasam made of jaggary 4) drink plenty of milk, curd 5) take oil body massage weekly twice and regarding advertise I don't comment on them but personally I don't prefer such supplements.

1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

You have mentioned a lot of harmful effect re: use of plastic bottle for storing water, but NOT suggested what alternative pack one can use! So far my knowledge goes, one plastic, the plymer of ethylene (called polythelene), is an inert product, and does not react so quicklyhence, it says, water can be stored for a few days. Also, Drug Controller in our country, or say, FDA in USA, freely allow even aerated waters like Coca Cola etc to store and sell in plastic bottle world over. Can you pl clarify your recommendation in light of that?

Donot worry lybrate-user single use bottle made up of pet/ pete means polyethylene terephthalate are fully safe. Sometimes antimony is used in pet production, which can leach in to water. However this does not pose much of risk.

These foods like wallnuts, dark green leafy vegetable, berries, tamato & also foods rich in protein, like low fat dairy products, beans, soya, tuna, or chicken, are rich in an amino acid called tryptophan, which may help increase production of the brain chemical serotonin which is thought to play a role in mood regulation. Hi, do regular exercise. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Body fuel is good gainer. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before and with meals. If you are non vegetarian include eggs, chicken and fish in your diet. Take small and frequent meals.
